of Jesus Annointed One, He was victorious over all God's enemies. He has clearly won victory. However, Satan and his followers have not accepted defeat and still try to claim victory. Thus, victorious Christ has had to establish His troops (the church) to secure victory until He returns to set up His new government. The church is God's occupational force until He returns. Jesus clearly intends his disciples to focus their impact on world today, through power of Holy Spirit onto a sick and dying world, lost without Christ. Christian, rather than entirely focusing your future on eternity in sweet bye and bye.
