By pursuing this process, a man sooner or later discovers that he is master gardener of his soul, director of his life. He also reveals, within himself, laws of thought, and understands, with ever-increasing accuracy, how thought-forces and mind-elements operate in shaping his character, circumstances, and destiny. Imagine how lousy you would feel if you ate a diet of nothing but junk food. Giving your life a diet of nothing but negative, limiting thoughts can have same effect. Thinking does not make it so. Thinking provides you with nourishment you need to make it so. Make that nourishment of positive thoughts best it can be. And your life will benefit greatly.

Finally, Jeff said, "Yes, I accept that challenge." The next week he came to his coaching call excited and inspired. He got in three great workouts and he felt energized! The challenge worked. He asked to keep same challenge going for next week, and then next week and so on. The fine was just push Jeff needed. The momentum he created by developing habit of three workouts per week continued, and after a few weeks he didn't even need fine anymore (though he chose to keep it just in case).
