The pebbles are
other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.
The sand is everything else-the small stuff.
'If you put
sand into
jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for
pebbles or
golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on
small stuff, you will never have room for
things that are important.'
So, pay attention to
things that are most important. Take care of your health - cook with your kids! - spend time with those you love.
There's always time to clean
house - it's a never ending job anyway :-).
Take care of
golf balls first,
things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.
Wondering what
coffee represents?
No matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple cups of coffee with a friend - or a soda if you're like me and don't drink coffee!!
Please share this with someone you care about!!!
