Most doctors would recommend a daily multi-vitamin and antioxidant. Taking hormone known as DHEA can also do wonders to battle effects of menopause. One of few over counter pills that also serves as a hormone, it actually produces sex hormones in both men and women. DHEA promotes functioning of enzymes that speed up bodily processes, block fat cells, and fights disease. DHEA is actually produced by body in adrenal glands, but declines in amount as we get older. That’s why it’s crucial to keep taking DHEA to keep body in optimum health and fight this condition. Pound for pound, most critical thing women can do to lessen severity of menopause is to follow a clean and healthy lifestyle including exercise and listen to their doctor. Avoid eating McDonalds, drinking sodas, and consuming other foods packed with sugars and preservatives. Make it a habit to drink water and provide yourself with a solid social network of friends that will provide support to you when you’re down and need someone to talk to. Overall, keep your body in line and in shape against menopause by acquainting yourself with proper nutrition and necessary vitamins.

Types of Stress Stressors can be either external or internal. External stressors such as traffic jams, a death in family, or a financial hardship, are often out of our direct control. Internal stressors on other hand develop through our own personality traits and emotions. It is our ability to handle these internal and external stressors that determines amount of stress we feel we have. Chemical substances such as alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, sugar, additives, drugs, and environmental toxins, put a further strain on body and are further sources of stress. Recognizing Stress Physical signs of stress include dryness in throat and mouth, tightened muscles in neck shoulders and back, chronic neck and back pain, headaches or migraines, digestive disorders, shaking, muscle tics, sleep disorders, and fatigue.
