Every suite flaunts highest quality extravagant fabrics, 400 thread-count Egyptian cotton duvet covers and 300-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheeting, all by Anichini, directly imported from Milan, Italy.

In Barcelona rooftop suite, fine Anichini Italian linens and stunning Marengo gold and mahogany damask duvet were not only beautiful but provided a deeply restful night's sleep. The regal, solid king-sized bed and euphoric comfort it provided was crowning highlight of this majestic bed and breakfast experience. Simply heavenly.

According to Kristina Doliszny, guests frequently ask about purchasing Anichini bed sheets, which were imported from Italy. When Kristina inquired about retail prices for her guests, she was surprised to learn they would cost a whopping $1,100 a set. While it's not feasible to offer them to guests at those prices, innkeepers are proud to pamper their clients with this luxurious European treat during their stay.

A full gourmet breakfast is served in dining room at 9:00 a.m. Guests may enjoy their breakfast inside or on Honduran mahogany covered verandah. At our breakfast, delicious scrambled eggs, breakfast sandwiches, and sausages were presented in elegant silver pans. Fresh juices, breads, bagels, and fruit were also available. Afternoon tea and snacks are served in dining room. The tasty afternoon spread included biscotti, muffins, chewy chocolate chip cookies, milk, and teas.

The resort opened on April 15, 1993 and features two outdoor swimming pools, three tennis courts, (one of which is lighted) and Ritz-Carlton signature blue "cabana chairs" on beach. The Fitness Center is equipped with weight training and cardiovascular equipment, steam and sauna rooms, and aerobic classes are offered each morning. Spa services are available, including massages in Fitness Center, guestroom or on beach. A beauty salon is also located in hotel.

Relaxing on beach takes on a whole new meaning as private beach cabanas staffed with individual butlers, personal messages delivered upon receipt to guests lounging poolside, chilled scented towels and fresh fruit on silver trays are among benefits.

Upon arrival at pool and beach area, all guests are greeted by a specialty concierge personnel and registered at guest services desk. This enables staff members to locate any guest in area and deliver important messages, phone calls or faxes.
