Joint ventures are nothing new although
online community often talks about them as if they were. Years ago I knew of people who convinced large catalog companies to feature one of their products. They offered

So joint ventures are
key and your challenge is to find, develop, somehow locate something of great value that potential joint venture partners would be interested in. That's not that easy because many joint venture prospects get numerous offers every week. A typical week for me will have 8-10 people emailing me a sample of their software product to look at, perhaps 20 people asking me to consider promoting their ebook and another 10 asking for some type of endorsement. If I get this many JV offers, I know that there are others who must get several times this many offers. As you can imagine, it's impossible to even consider all of these deals, so only something truly exceptional will make
cut.
Joint ventures don't have to be with just "major players" though. You can more easily joint venture with fellow business people who are perhaps just starting out. The potential return is usually not as great, but if you can set up JVs with 10 or 20 smaller businesses, your aggregate results may be. So, don't just look for joint ventures with publishers with huge lists, look for joint ventures with almost anyone you come in contact with on a daily basis. You'll soon discover that you have a lot of joint ventures going and in
process your business is growing at a much accelerated rate.
