Continued from page 1
First off, though, you'll need to make decisions about different ways you can promote. Go through list below, and decide which ones you want to work with. *FFA/Classified Sites *Opt-In Lists *SafeLists *Search Engines *Ezines *E-books *Bulk Mail *Discussion Forums *Lead Generating Programs *Your Own Affiliate Program *Offline Promotion Keep records and keep track of what works for you and what doesn't. You're not going to be a whiz at everything right off, but you can make progress as you learn. Keep a file of sites or ezines you use to promote. Keep it where you can find it easily without having to search through a bunch of old emails to get URL's again. Even keep track of things that didn't work for you, so you won't forget later and waste time and money on them again. EDUCATION You don't know everything. I don't know everything. You absolutely have to keep learning and progressing. Don't let it take time away from your promotional efforts, but schedule time to read up on your market and marketing tactics. Know your product well. Think about where to find others who may be interested in it. Always be looking ahead for better and more efficient ways of promotion. Make a continual effort to 'gather up' information you need. Look for other sites and programs that have good information gathered up already and take advantage of them. You can often benefit greatly from work of others. Hey, if they are offering it, take them up on it! Anything that will save you time in gathering process can put you further ahead toward your goal of making money that much quicker! Set up BASICS, continually work on PROMOTION, and further seek to EDUCATE yourself to do it all better. Gather it all up and organize it to work to your advantage.

Continued from page 1 Sometimes, visitors may be interested, but in a hurry, or short of cash, or just not in mood to read at time. By placing an auto responder link at top and bottom of page, you may get visitors to request information, and be able to follow up with them even after they leave site. Notice, however, that all of these links to extra information still relate strictly to product or service you are trying to sell. Each of these other pages, or auto responder letters, should still link back directly to sales site, and order link. Always direct all information to order link. Give people benefits of your product or service, and then show them how to get it. Offering an ezine subscription related to your business, is only non-strictly related link that should be allowed on your sales site. This will still allow you to keep in touch with your potential customers and further promote your business. You may at times choose to link to other sites that have content that confirms information you are giving at your own site. This may be acceptable if other site does indeed confirm benefits of what you are selling, and does NOT offer same or similar product or service that you are selling. If you choose to do this, link directly to page you want visitors to see, and be sure to relate how they will want or need to come back after view this other site. Even then, however, you are taking a chance by allowing them to leave your own site. It would be better to just quote same information and place it on your own site if possible. Integration of two sales methods, Instant Excitement and Earned Association, will give you a complete sales site that will appeal to all types of visitors and their own individual ways of looking at things. Completing this step will put you much further on road to Internet Marketing success.
