Now let us see how poor, desperate $5 per article writer is doing trying to earn extra money. If they can write fast, they will be doing 10-15 articles per day. (some writers do 20 comfortably). All research is done online for articles ranging from 300 to 500 words. No delays in their efforts to earn extra money or make a living from their online writing. 15 articles per day will give a writer an income of about $2,250 in 30 days. Thatís very good extra money. And thanks to services like Paypal, many keyword writing programs pay shortly after article has been delivered via email.
Granted, this may not be a lot of money, but it is excellent extra money, earned easily by a writer doing what they enjoy most - writing. And what a great way to launch a writing career even as you earn lots of extra money. From reputation you build up over time, you can at same time be targeting bigger writing jobs.
I started with $2.50cts articles. Mostly out of curiosity, I wanted to see if I could really get paid and earn some extra money. Gradually I realized that a four-figure monthly income was easy to achieve. Later I was able to land $500 assignments (mainly from offline magazines, but everything was done online). Still $2.50cts online writing assignments remained my bread and butter for a long time. The rest is history.
You could be ignoring your big opportunity to earn easy extra money online from your writing, even as you find your feet as a writer. Itís easy extra money if nothing else.

3.You will receive an authorís questionnaire in which you are asked to disclose up to 100 names of family members, friends, and associates. It states: ďAlso, please do not include businesses or organizations of any kind, including bookstores, media contacts, or government organizations. Include friends and associates only.Ē Why are they so shy of staying away from media if their wish is to actually SELL books? 4.Twice a year, March and September, marks season for minuscule royalty checks. Think of time and effort you put in to writing your book. Add up $30 copyright fee you paid, number of books you bought yourself, amount of money you forked over to get a web site and/or ANY type of online and offline promotional effort, and divide that into amount you receive Ė usually less than $20! 5.Look at numbers of authors and authorís advocates out there who write about what a scam PublishAmerica really is. Not just one or two disgruntled authors, but hundreds of them. Over on Absolute Write Forum we have over 900 pages of NeverEnding Publish America thread. Mindsight and Writers Net have similarly vast amounts of web space devoted to warning and educating people about drawbacks of being a Publish America author.
And finally, think about time frame of that seven-year long contract which is what Publish America offers. In some states you could commit some pretty nasty felonies and get less prison time than that! Perhaps a more appropriate slogan would be: PublishAmerica, imprisoning authors one book at a time!
