I quickly say delete that thought. If I can't say it out loud I say it in my mind and I immediately replace it with a new affirmative thought. By changing your beliefs, ( I found a lot of those beliefs were not even mine they belonged to my Father or Mother, or a fiend but I let them run around creating my life).
