Please add your "Link Information" that you would want visitors to add on their site! I've gone to too many sites were I had to spend over 5 minutes trying to find their "Link Exchange" information!

Now i'm not talking about a link on your site to your link program, i'm talking about information you would give to other sites in order to exchange links!

Denying link exchanges!

Get ready, it happens to all of us! Don't get upset when a company you just linked to has just denied your link exchange! Many companies out there has STRICT guidelines they are looking for. You may have not read their specific rules they have! Don't worry about it, take a note and move on.

There's another 1,000 000 that will link to you so don't go have a drink from one denial! I know we all hate them but just remember, we've all got them!

In future, when you're put in a situation were you will be one denying another site for a link exchange, just remember how you felt at time and be considerate to other by telling them WHY they were denied. I often replied to site that denied my site to ask why my site wasn't accepted and often I am surprised to hear reason. what they had to say!

But, you can get around this hurdle by using a free URL direct service like one offered by Bravenet (http//www.bravenet.com). You simply place your affiliate web page URL into service.

example affiliate ID link:

http//www.myaffiliate.com?ID2345

and it will generate a shorter URL redirect URL

example:

http//clik.to/affiliate

that you can publish in newsletters, classified ads, or anywhere your affiliate web page URL would be seen publicly.

Your affiliate link is not visible, so no one can alter it. When someone clicks on your short re-direct URL, your affiliate web page will open in their browser.

The same can be achieved by creating an affiliate web page on your server (if you have a website), recreate your affiliate web page on your own web site by copying HTML from your affiliate web page

(example) http//www.myaffiliate.com?ID2345

to a page on your web site:

(example) http//www.mysite.com/affiliate.htm

When surfer opens web page on your web site, there is your affiliate web page.

Be sure that you cloak links on recreated affiliate page on your web site.

Both your affiliate linking URL and your affiliate ID are masked from potential thieves.

The similar can be achieved, if you do not have your own web site and you link directly to your affiliate supplied web page. Go to Bravenet Fast Redirect URL, enter URL of your affiliate supplied web page. Then use Bravenet redirect URL (which points to your affiliate supplied web page) to post to classified, sales letters, Solo Ads and newsletters, etc.

By masking your affiliate ID URL or links to your products will detour possible thieves from stealing from YOU.
