Limitations Real Or Imagined, Stick Em In A Pigs Eye!

Enough To Flip Your Lid!

Well, if it is worthrepparttar energy, there will still be plenty of opportunities to give-in to our limitations. What makes it so stressful, is our minds are constantly shifting back and forth; I can, no I can't, I can, no I can't.

With every obstacle that surface, our mind is doing it's very best to see if we "really" want to do this. And, sometimes, we do our best to listen. I have discovered thatrepparttar 123538 only meaningful successes I have ever had was when I didn't sway back and forth in that kind of double-minded-ness.

You want to know what a double minded person is? A person who is attempting to operate in faith and fear atrepparttar 123539 same time. When you are double minded, repparttar 123540 "can't" side of your mind makes you focus on your limitations. When you are focused onrepparttar 123541 limitations, instead ofrepparttar 123542 end result that you desire, it doesn't matter whetherrepparttar 123543 limitations are real or imagined, they will just make you feel dumber than home made dirt because you don't really know for sure.

Now, sometimesrepparttar 123544 universe just feels sorry for us and gives us a little bone. You know what I mean; it's like being a little bit pregnant. Just enough to make us aggravated and want to jump in with both feet, and, repparttar 123545 next time we'll showrepparttar 123546 thing what we're made of.

But, don't misunderstandrepparttar 123547 universe. It's not trying to hold us back. Oh, No…., It just wants to know what we believe. And, if we show a full steam ahead attitude, thenrepparttar 123548 universe says, now, that'srepparttar 123549 Spirit. In A Pigs Eye, You Say! Oh Yeah! Then what happens is,repparttar 123550 TEST! Oh yeah, we showed our confidence and our boasting and nowrepparttar 123551 universe says "test time". Now don't get paranoid. This is supposed to happen. If it were not forrepparttar 123552 test, we would all have enough money to burn a wet dog.

I know that's a nice thought, but remember, gravity won't go away and neither willrepparttar 123553 test. It's part ofrepparttar 123554 equation and necessary for our growth and development.

Here is what is happening. As an illustration I'll use gravity again. Gravity is always trying to make airplanes crash. It is ever trying to bring them down. But, there is a higher law, and that isrepparttar 123555 law of lift.

Now do you think that airplanes could ever have flown if everyone believed thatrepparttar 123556 limitation of gravity was impossible to overcome? Sure, gravity is a big limitation, and it's real, but there is also a way to overcome it. And, that's our job: to find a way to make it work, without killing us, or putting our eyeball out, or ending up with foot-in-mouth disease.

Put A Fork In Me, I'm Done!

There is always a way to overcome real or imagined limitations. If man can fly; if we can float an aircraft carrier; what!! You mean you can float that much steel? Yeah, that's right: If so, then your limitations can kickrepparttar 123557 bucket too.

How to Get Organized

Written by Susan Dunn, MA Clinical Psychology, THE EQ COACH

4.Neil wanted to get organized. When we talked, I couldn’t see anywhere where he wasn’t organized. “What do you want to get organized about?” I asked. “I missed picking up my clothes atrepparttar cleanersrepparttar 123537 other day, he said. “That’s not like me.” Neil needed to work on his perfectionism. He had narrowed his life so much in order to accommodate his perfectionism that his life was relatively empty and always disappointing. The point of getting organized is to enhance your life, not vice versa.

5.Nucha began coaching by saying, “I hate this,” and “I know you can’t help me.” With such a pessimistic attitude, how could she succeed at anything? She needed to work on her emotional intelligence and learn a more optimistic attitude!

6.Emilil said she couldn’t prioritize. I told her to write down everything she did forrepparttar 123538 next two weeks. When she returned, she’d figured it out! We are prioritizing allrepparttar 123539 time, whether we’re conscious of it or not. Get conscious about it isrepparttar 123540 beginning. If you want to see what your values are, look at your checkbook and see what you write check for. With awareness comes change, and a sense of control.

7.Candee wanted to get organized because she said she always forgot things and didn’t get things done. When I asked her “Like what?” she could only come up with a couple of things … failing to buy MacIntosh apples onrepparttar 123541 last trip torepparttar 123542 grocery, not remembering her uncle’s birthday. I asked her to make a full list ofrepparttar 123543 things she was NOT doing. When faced with that assignment, she realizedrepparttar 123544 absurdity of it, and that perhaps she was worrying just forrepparttar 123545 sake of worrying. She entered birthdays on Clock-Calendar, and found a new grocery-list system that worked.

8.Nancy said she had too much to do and I asked her to tell me. After talking for 10 minutes she said, “This is ridiculous. I can’t do all this.” Sometimes you need to hear yourself talk to see how things really are! She immediately took action. She got a low-maintenance hairstyle, found new homes for 3 of her 5 pets; shopped online and used gift bags instead going torepparttar 123546 mall and then wrapping; and she quit baking homemade bread, which no one in her family noticed for 3 weeks.

Whatever organizational state you’re in, getrepparttar 123547 big picture organized first, and then go getrepparttar 123548 tools. Work with a coach for quicker results.
