Life More Abundantly

Asrepparttar Father knoweth me, even so know Irepparttar 126561 Father: and I lay down my life forrepparttar 126562 sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even asrepparttar 126563 Father said unto me, so I speak. I amrepparttar 126564 way, repparttar 126565 truth, andrepparttar 126566 life: no man cometh untorepparttar 126567 Father, but by me.

As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know theerepparttar 126568 only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus isrepparttar 126569 Christ, repparttar 126570 Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also torepparttar 126571 Gentiles granted repentance unto life. (If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.) Who also hath made us able ministers ofrepparttar 126572 new testament; not ofrepparttar 126573 letter, but ofrepparttar 126574 spirit: forrepparttar 126575 letter killeth, butrepparttar 126576 spirit giveth life. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Isrepparttar 126577 law then againstrepparttar 126578 promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been byrepparttar 126579 law. For he that soweth to his flesh shall ofrepparttar 126580 flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth torepparttar 126581 Spirit shall ofrepparttar 126582 Spirit reap life everlasting. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise ofrepparttar 126583 life that now is, and of that which is to come. Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation againstrepparttar 126584 time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. But is now made manifest byrepparttar 126585 appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light throughrepparttar 126586 gospel: in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised beforerepparttar 126587 world began; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according torepparttar 126588 hope of eternal life.

Blessed isrepparttar 126589 man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receiverepparttar 126590 crown of life, whichrepparttar 126591 Lord hath promised to them that love him. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, throughrepparttar 126592 knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

That which was fromrepparttar 126593 beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, ofrepparttar 126594 Word of life; (Forrepparttar 126595 life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was withrepparttar 126596 Father, and was manifested unto us). For all that is inrepparttar 126597 world, repparttar 126598 lust ofrepparttar 126599 flesh, andrepparttar 126600 lust ofrepparttar 126601 eyes, andrepparttar 126602 pride of life, is not ofrepparttar 126603 Father, but is ofrepparttar 126604 world.

And this isrepparttar 126605 promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we loverepparttar 126606 brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Hereby perceive werepparttar 126607 love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives forrepparttar 126608 brethren.

And this isrepparttar 126609 record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hathrepparttar 126610 Son hath life; and he that hath notrepparttar 126611 Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe onrepparttar 126612 name ofrepparttar 126613 Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe onrepparttar 126614 name ofrepparttar 126615 Son of God.

And we know thatrepparttar 126616 Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This isrepparttar 126617 true God, and eternal life. Keep yourselves inrepparttar 126618 love of God, looking forrepparttar 126619 mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

He that hath an ear, let him hear whatrepparttar 126620 Spirit saith untorepparttar 126621 churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat ofrepparttar 126622 tree of life, which is inrepparttar 126623 midst ofrepparttar 126624 paradise of God.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, repparttar 126625 beginning andrepparttar 126626 end. I will give unto him that is athirst ofrepparttar 126627 fountain ofrepparttar 126628 water of life freely.

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out ofrepparttar 126629 throne of God and ofrepparttar 126630 Lamb. Inrepparttar 126631 midst ofrepparttar 126632 street of it, and on either side ofrepparttar 126633 river, was thererepparttar 126634 tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: andrepparttar 126635 leaves ofrepparttar 126636 tree were forrepparttar 126637 healing ofrepparttar 126638 nations.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right torepparttar 126639 tree of life, and may enter in throughrepparttar 126640 gates intorepparttar 126641 city.

Andrepparttar 126642 Spirit andrepparttar 126643 bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him takerepparttar 126644 water of life freely. © by Joyce C. Glorify thy Name

Written by Joyce C. Lock

Continued from page 1

The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him fromrepparttar dead, bare record.

And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, thatrepparttar 126560 Son of man should be glorified. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now isrepparttar 126561 Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, thatrepparttar 126562 Father may be glorified inrepparttar 126563 Son.

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, repparttar 126564 hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee.

I have glorified thee onrepparttar 126565 earth: I have finishedrepparttar 126566 work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self withrepparttar 126567 glory which I had with thee beforerepparttar 126568 world was. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him againrepparttar 126569 second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto himrepparttar 126570 third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto himrepparttar 126571 third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, repparttar 126572 God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him inrepparttar 126573 presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because ofrepparttar 126574 people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.

When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also torepparttar 126575 Gentiles granted repentance unto life. And whenrepparttar 126576 Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorifiedrepparttar 126577 word ofrepparttar 126578 Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

And when they heard it, they glorifiedrepparttar 126579 Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous ofrepparttar 126580 law: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

For as many as are led byrepparttar 126581 Spirit of God, they arerepparttar 126582 sons of God. For ye have not receivedrepparttar 126583 spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have receivedrepparttar 126584 Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we arerepparttar 126585 children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, evenrepparttar 126586 Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. And thatrepparttar 126587 Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee amongrepparttar 126588 Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Whiles byrepparttar 126589 experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection intorepparttar 126590 gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which long after you forrepparttar 126591 exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Thatrepparttar 126592 name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according torepparttar 126593 grace of our God andrepparttar 126594 Lord Jesus Christ.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, thatrepparttar 126595 word ofrepparttar 126596 Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you.

So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.

Having your conversation honest amongrepparttar 126597 Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God inrepparttar 126598 day of visitation.

If any man speak, let him speak asrepparttar 126599 oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as ofrepparttar 126600 ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

If ye be reproached forrepparttar 126601 name of Christ, happy are ye; forrepparttar 126602 spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C.
