Life More AbundantlyWritten by Joyce C. Lock

As Father knoweth me, even so know I Father: and I lay down my life for sheep. Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as Father said unto me, so I speak. I am way, truth, and life: no man cometh unto Father, but by me. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is Christ, Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to Gentiles granted repentance unto life. (If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.) Who also hath made us able ministers of new testament; not of letter, but of spirit: for letter killeth, but spirit giveth life. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Is law then against promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by law. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to Spirit shall of Spirit reap life everlasting. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of life that now is, and of that which is to come. Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. But is now made manifest by appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through gospel: in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before world began; that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to hope of eternal life. Blessed is man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive crown of life, which Lord hath promised to them that love him. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. That which was from beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of Word of life; (For life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with Father, and was manifested unto us). For all that is in world, lust of flesh, and lust of eyes, and pride of life, is not of Father, but is of world. And this is promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Hereby perceive we love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for brethren. And this is record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath Son hath life; and he that hath not Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on name of Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on name of Son of God. And we know that Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is true God, and eternal life. Keep yourselves in love of God, looking for mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what Spirit saith unto churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of tree of life, which is in midst of paradise of God. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, beginning and end. I will give unto him that is athirst of fountain of water of life freely. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of throne of God and of Lamb. In midst of street of it, and on either side of river, was there tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and leaves of tree were for healing of nations. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to tree of life, and may enter in through gates into city. And Spirit and bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take water of life freely. © by Joyce C. The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from dead, bare record. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that Son of man should be glorified. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that Father may be glorified in Son. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee. I have glorified thee on earth: I have finished work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with glory which I had with thee before world was. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of people: for all men glorified God for that which was done. When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to Gentiles granted repentance unto life. And when Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified word of Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And when they heard it, they glorified Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of law: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. For as many as are led by Spirit of God, they are sons of God. For ye have not received spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. And that Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among Gentiles, and sing unto thy name. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Whiles by experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection into gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which long after you for exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. That name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, brethren, pray for us, that word of Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. Having your conversation honest among Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in day of visitation. If any man speak, let him speak as oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. If ye be reproached for name of Christ, happy are ye; for spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C.
