Lesson 58. Category Goals Plan to do this. Success is best revenge! Why should you do this? To naysayer, to all those who said you wouldn’t amount to anything. To all those who treated you as if you wouldn’t amount to anything. To all those who acted as if you wouldn’t amount to anything. To those who acted as if they were better than you were. To those who thought they were better than you were. To those who mistreated you in anyway. To all those who boasted to you about themselves or their belongings. To all those who thought they were more beautiful or handsome than you were. To those who disrespected you in any form. To anyone who had an ounce of animosity towards you for no apparent reason. To those who got better of you on a day when you were down and out. To those who kicked you while you were down and out. To those who tried their hardest to make your life a living hell. To those who abused you in any form—SUCCEED! What happened? We have not reached pinnacle of success, but we are definitely on our way through goals we have established for ourselves, and continue to accomplish. In terms of education, family, friends and financial independence, we suppose, we have surpassed many of individuals we have had misfortune of meeting and who were previously mentioned. Intuition tells us this has created even more animosity towards us because we did not focus on them but on goals and dreams, we have planned and have tediously pursued. The purpose of any naysayer, otherwise known as “dream busters,” is to take spirit from those they encounter, and by not giving them satisfaction, you are already ahead of game. How do you do this? Whatever goals you have for yourself complete them no matter how stellar performance might be, if journey is on road to success then do so, remembering that no dream is too big for reality. Take those steps in your life to enhance not only who you are as a person but also those around you. When naysayer, hears of your success, he will have to, if only for a moment, reflect on how his behavior has had an impact on your life and who got better of experience. If success is not for you, then let it be for them—your motivation.

| | Broken Dishes and BarackWritten by Roger Wright
Continued from page 1 Barack Obama's smile reflected other man's own and while applause got louder upstairs and turned into a stomping of feet that drummed into very foundation of old political rooms so hard that even ghosts of all those old dealmakers kept watching. And what they saw was Barack Obama and Santiago Cruz picking up pieces of shattered breakfast dishes until job was done. This Wednesday morning it looks as though world might be looking at those of us in United States with a head shaking bafflement. Just WHAT were these American’s THINKING! Or more precisely, just what were JUST under one half of them thinking. The story that came first on radio was of Oklahoma senators who want to simply ban ALL abortions. Then they want to make sure that no one who is gay or an unwed mother be allowed to teach in a public school. That compassion stands missing from national ethic is a given. The forecast calls for a lot of broken dishes on floor. But in dark morning of such a demoralizing loss-here on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago--praying not for easy lives: but instead for strength to meet what life brings: I found myself somehow in line for coffee and newspapers at exact same time as Greg. Don't remember what we said. Really doesn't matter. What does matter is that there we both were, two guys from same church home--matter of fact same church home that was ALSO SAME denomination of Barack Obama. . . . .there we were in very same line at very same time. Both of us in that line ready to help pick up broken dishes. Very same line at very same time. As if it was a message: that God is still speaking. Speaking. Speaking.
