Kundalini lessons - Money

I grew up inrepparttar mountains of North Carolina as a poor country boy and most ofrepparttar 122097 time money was a tool that we just didn't have. Our "reality" was that we had to struggle just to have 'enough to survive'. Whilerepparttar 122098 concept of abundance was nothing new to us, we saw our abundance in what we could grow and make rather than what we could buy, and while those skills are definitely valuable, it's a very limiting attitude to have.

So within my 'reality' money wasn't really a tool that was very prominent in my toolbox, even though it was consistently one ofrepparttar 122099 factors that prevented me from doingrepparttar 122100 things I needed to do. Many of my attitudes came fromrepparttar 122101 fact that I'm just not interested in money for it's own sake. I'm pretty unimpressed byrepparttar 122102 people I've met whose primary characteristic seems to be that they have lots of money. Also it's easy to develop bad attitudes when we seerepparttar 122103 evils done inrepparttar 122104 name of money, so for a long time my 'reality' remained that I was working to have 'enough to survive'.

Another interesting factor is that many of us in western society are taught to believe that we DON'T deserve a lot of money. We're taught to WANT it, but not to BELIEVE that we deserve it, which only seems like a paradox til you think about how our consumer culture is driven by desire and want, rather than need.

What I finally realized is that I have to expand my reality and shake offrepparttar 122105 bad attitudes. Money is a fact of life in our modern world. It's a tool that too many of us are taught to ignore and misuse, and just because many ofrepparttar 122106 world's ills and evils are concieved to get it doesn't mean that we should ignorerepparttar 122107 fact that many ofrepparttar 122108 modern worlds GOOD things are caused by it also. The fact that I can write this article and instantly send it out to people all overrepparttar 122109 world is just one example.

I expectrepparttar 122110 next few months to be a very interesting and rewarding period as I learn more about this 'new' tool and how to effectively use it. Many ofrepparttar 122111 healers and 'new agers' that I know also have similar attitudes to those that I always had, so I thought I'd bring this up here.

I'm sure that many of you may have some interesting feedback. :)

Kundalini and "Enlightenment"

Awakeningrepparttar kundalini clears all of that away, leavingrepparttar 122096 student (or victim depending on ones outlook) with a completely clean slate. After awakeingrepparttar 122097 kundalini all ofrepparttar 122098 masks that you've learned to wear will have been completely stripped away and for most of us it can be a very frightening time. Suddenly everything that you thought you knew about yourself is different, and suddenly everything else looks different as well as you're not seeing it from behindrepparttar 122099 masks of your learned ego. What do you do with that? The simple answer (bewarerepparttar 122100 simple answers in life) is that now you can becomerepparttar 122101 person that you were MEANT to be, rather thanrepparttar 122102 person that you were TAUGHT to be. Your next step onrepparttar 122103 path here is to *surrender* to yourself and be willing to go where you have to go and do what you have to do, to berepparttar 122104 person you were meant to be.
