Just Think ...Written by Joyce C. Lock
Continued from page 1 And, do you know what else? Now, this is really cool! If you make just one person smile, they will feel happier and will, in turn, make at least a couple more people smile. Then, you have two new people smiling who will, in turn, make two more people smile. You started with one smile, which was yours. And now, that seed has already multiplied seven times, when all you did was smile! The same is true in sharing joys of Lord. Each time you minister to someone, they will find opportunity to share it again. It's kind of like Energizer bunny. It keeps going and going. Some seed multiplies a little, some up to a hundred fold. It could even be more! Thank God that we don't have to count how much our seed gets multiplied. All we have to do is offer seed and God will take it from there. I, often, wonder if person who led Billy Graham to Lord had any idea what they had done. One seed multiplied more times than anyone but God can count. Have you ever thought to realize it could be your seed that will reach next Billy Graham? Just think of all good we could accomplish were we to quit letting Satan tell us that we can't. Why, we could change world ... if we would just think.~ Changing World ~ You can change world By thoughtful things you do; Making a difference, Letting God's love shine through. Reaching out to help others, With compassion He gave you, Multiplies His seed; Making hearts brand new. ~ * ~ By obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Romans 5:19 © by Joyce C. Continued from page 1 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by root, and be thou planted in sea; and it should obey you. Then Peter and other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. And word of God increased; and number of disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of priests were obedient to faith. By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to faith among all nations, for his name. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in lusts thereof. But they have not all obeyed gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? But now is made manifest, and by scriptures of prophets, according to commandment of everlasting God, made known to all nations for obedience of faith: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Elect according to foreknowledge of God Father, through sanctification of Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to former lusts in your ignorance: Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying truth through Spirit unto unfeigned love of brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: For time is come that judgment must begin at house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall end be of them that obey not gospel of God?
