The judge is now in act of turning Jesus over to his enemies to be crucified, notwithstanding his innocence.

But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. (John 19:15 Christ's Trial and They Demand Christ's Condemnation).

Pilate could try men like Barabbas and keep order; but fate which brought this mysterious prisoner to his attention and judgment, offered nor suggested no solution to problem which he should solve. Pilate brought under weakness and delivered Jesus Christ over to be crucifixed.

Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they went forth into a place called place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha: (John 19:16 Christ's Trial and Christ Condemned).

When you review Matthew 27:32 and Mark 15:21 it has on record Christ's Crucifixion and Christ Bearing HIS Cross.

When you review Luke 23:36 it has on record Christ's Crucifixion, The Conduct of People and How They Give HIM Vinegar, Wine Mingled with Myrrh.

Jesus friends despaired at this time, lingering, however, in silence around cross, not knowing what do or what next to expect, in this group his mother, Mary, and other friends were numbered.

Now there stood by cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. (John 19:25 Christ's Reception By Men and The Ministry of Women).

John was Jesus close friend and beloved disciple and a few of women remained with disciple. Jesus showed deepest concern for his mother and suggest John look after her like she was his own.

When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. (John 19:26,27 Christ's Crucifixion, Christ's Words to Women who wept for HIM).

Prophecy coming to pass. The suffering Messiah has fulfilled this mission. Jesus sense of thirst was a sign that his spirit was at rest. The flesh suffered while spirit triumphed.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. (John 19:28,29 Christ's Crucifixion, They Give Him Vinegar and Wine Mingled with Myrrh).

Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished with words, "It is finished." Christ now bows his head and gives up ghost; purpose of God in history of man is accomplished. God has revealed himself as love.

When Jesus therefore had received vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up ghost. (John 19:30, Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37, Luke 23:46 Christ's Death).

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, doors being shut, and stood in midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Thomas loved Jesus and was pleased with fulfillment of prophecy concerning resurrection of Jesus. Jesus warns Thomas against faithlessness, and exhorts him to believe and accept truth by faith rather than by sight.

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. (John 20:27 Appearances of Christ After HIS Resurrection, At Other Times, To Eleven).

Are there any doubters today? Are there any that are missing blessings of spiritual revelation, because they are expecting and desiring to see something visible, as a symbol of God's presence, before they accept HIM?

And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God, (John 20:28 Christ's Divinty, HE IS Called God).

Jesus is not impatient with Thomas, nor is HIS wrath kindled against him: he is not pronouncing upon him any form of doom, but simply showing him that there is room for improvement.

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:29 FAITH, Is Of Different Degrees).

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is Christ, Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. (John 20:31)

Thomas was skeptical and Peter was impulsive. They both had to be tested and tried before permanently. Simon Peter and his brother Andrew were fishermen, like James and John, sons of Zebedee, and it was characteristic of Jesus to make approaches, by way of natural endeavors.

When Jesus was being tried Peter tried to keep his promise and follow him, but human part became weak and resulted in his denail, thrice upon accusation by enemies.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than thee? He saith unto thim, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. (John 21:15 Apostle Peter And Final Charge to Him).

He saith to him again second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (John 21:16 Apostle Peter And Final Charge to HIM).

When Peter declared, with an attitude of grief, that he did love Master and that his denial did not mean permanent separation, Jesus again told him to feed HIS sheep. The work of sharing, praying, praising, teaching, missions, preaching, witnessing good news is important, and no man putting his hand to plow should turn back (Luke 9:62).

He saith unto him third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee, Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (John 21:17 Christ Possess Attributes of God, IS Omniscient).
