What would it be like if that wasrepparttar desire and goal of each and every worker? What would it be like if this was bothrepparttar 106368 desire and commitment of every employer? What if every employee AND every member of management were truly accountable?

> FOLKS WOULD WORK FOR THE HOURS FOR WHICH THEY ARE PAID.

When you take a position, you knowrepparttar 106369 hours, repparttar 106370 benefits, repparttar 106371 job description andrepparttar 106372 compensation. That means that you then undertake to do those things for that long to reap those benefits and take home that compensation. Simple equation. Many folks understand it completely. There are some, though, that seem to take uprepparttar 106373 challenge of seeing how little they can do without being noticed. They even seem to think thatrepparttar 106374 organization provides them with a telephone and email so that they can stay in touch with their friends and fill their social calendars. One employee in a firm I worked with actually stated that she came to work as a respite from her home life and her home-based business! Very often she could be found chatting in hallways and cubicles about her children, husband and health rather than focusing on her work and supervising her staff.

> FOLKS WOULD FULFILL, AND EVEN EXCEED, THEIR JOB DESCRIPTIONS.

Inrepparttar 106375 ideal world, your acceptance of your pay check is your statement of fulfilling your job description. Too obvious? Perhaps. Accountability requires that you takerepparttar 106376 initiative to learn your tasks. Ask questions. Read books. Keep up with your industry by reading newsletters and trade journals. Request training and use it well. Knowing your job reduces your stress. Exceeding your job's expectations leads to promotion.

> FOLKS WOULD BE RESPECTFUL OF TIME, ENERGY, RESOURCES AND FINANCES.

Be on time to meetings. It demonstrates respect. Honor timelines and deadlines. It creates high-performance. Conserve resources and money wisely to improverepparttar 106377 bottom line.

Simple. But why do it? In large companies I have heard employees say that it doesn't matter much if they make an error becauserepparttar 106378 company will never notice, or, becauserepparttar 106379 company has so much money it wouldn't matter. Wrong. It's not about that. It is about you being accountable forrepparttar 106380 choices you make which demonstrate your commitment to doingrepparttar 106381 best job possible. These ARErepparttar 106382 things that are noticed.

Which model are you? Longevity or maturity? It's your choice...and, of course, so arerepparttar 106383 consequences!

Opt-In Email Marketers: How to Deal With a Growth Pain of Internet Success, the Email Glut

Written by Marty Foley

1) Use email filters to move spam (or potential spam) to a folder set aside for it.

Spam often (but not always) has an email address other than one of your own inrepparttar "TO" line ofrepparttar 106367 email message.

If you use a filter to delete all such messages outright, there's a chance you'll miss some important email. If you move it to an email folder set aside for it, then you can scan through it quickly on occasion and make judicious use of your delete key. After a while you'll be able to accurately detect most spam messages without opening them.

2) Be careful giving out your main email address(es).

Some people willingly hold people "hostage" to their email lists. It's frustrating (and sometimes seemingly impossible) to unsubscribe. That's certainly not a way to foster good business relationships, but it happens. (I'm not talking about other problems leaving a list that aren'trepparttar 106368 fault ofrepparttar 106369 list owner; that's another story.)

If you're a bit wary about giving out your main email address due to this or other problems, you can either set aside an "alias" address within your domain that you only use for situations like this (and use a filter to send those messages to a special email folder).

You can also use one ofrepparttar 106370 free email addresses available online that forwards messages to your main email account. If worse comes to worse and that address starts getting overwhelmed with spam, you can stoprepparttar 106371 flow by cancelling it.

Note: Some list owners prefer that you do not subscribe using a free email account, due to various issues.

Well, there you have it: Some practical tips for dealing with a common "growth pain" that often comes with Internet success. May these tips contribute toward your own Internet success story, while bringing some relief to a common "growth pain."
