Intuition: The Entrepreneur's Secret Weapon

How might I notice my intuition trying to get my attention?

* Body signals - Your body gives you a tremendous amount of useful, intuitive information. For example, when your mother-in-law visits, does your stomach tie up in knots? When you feel passionate and alive, does your chest feel warm and open? Body signals offer us valuable information designed to let us what works for us and what doesn't.

* "The Gut"- Some people do feel their intuition in their physical gut. When I first started coaching and learning to access my intuition fully, I'd picture a string connecting my heart to my abdomen as a way to connect with my intuition.

* Pictures in your mind's eye - Sometimes, I see an image in my mind's eye that is an intuitive message.

* Dreams - The week after my son's birth, I had a difficult decision to make. One night, repparttar lyrics torepparttar 117120 song "Heart of Gold" by Neil Young appeared in my dream, reminding me thatrepparttar 117121 intention with which I make a decision is far more important thanrepparttar 117122 decision itself.

* Energy - Many of my clients use their energy levels as intuitive cues. If your energy spikes atrepparttar 117123 thought of one choice, while it plummets when you contemplate another, repparttar 117124 decision is clear.

* Just as a feeling, a hunch - a more generalized feeling that one choice is better thanrepparttar 117125 other. Sometimes for me it feels like an internal tug.

The next time you have an important business decision to make noticerepparttar 117126 part that your intuition plays. Do you use it and not even recognize it? Do you hear its message and ignore it? At your next set of crossroads, I challenge you to listen to your intuition, trust it and follow it. After all, trusting your intuition is simply another form of trusting yourself.

* Lack of recognition. Some gifts are overlooked because they aren't tangiblerepparttar way music or writing can be heard and seen. We sometimes assume that a gift must be a form of external brilliance like that of a composer like Mozart or a painter like Picasso. Maybe your form of brilliance isrepparttar 117119 impeccable balance you keep in your life, maybe it's a spiritual relationship you've developed or maybe it's your ability to manage people in a way that inspires them to be their best.

Other times, gifts are overlooked simply because they come so naturally. I've often heard people who are, for example, gifted networkers or natural musicians downplay their gifts by saying, "Oh, it's just this thing that I do." Noticerepparttar 117120 next time someone compliments you, and you respond withrepparttar 117121 equivalent of "Oh, it's just that thing that I do." How could you respond differently?

Sometimes we assume that in order for something to be a gift, and to be worthwhile, it requires hard work. Actually, repparttar 117122 reverse is true. A gift begins as a form of ease. A gift begins to feel hard when we judge it and don't honor it for what it is.

What do you do most naturally? Get a good sense of your gifts. Ask trusted colleagues and friends for feedback about your gifts, both tangible and non-tangible. How do you use these gifts in your business right now? How would your business change if you fully honored and incorporated your gifts?

It's extremely easy to overlook our own gifts and take them for granted. Do you haverepparttar 117123 gift of gab? Do you haverepparttar 117124 gift of turning nothing into something - in other words, repparttar 117125 gift of transformation? Each one of us possesses a multitude of gifts, large and small. In order to enhance your business success and life fulfillment, make sure you know what yours are.

You arerepparttar 117126 biggest resource your business has. Give yourselfrepparttar 117127 gift of profound self-acceptance. Explore your gifts. Acknowledge and accept them. And watchrepparttar 117128 miracles of your season unfold.
