I DREAMED I WAS PREACHINGWritten by Irvin L. Rozier
Continued from page 1
On stairs outside sanctuary, several well-dressed influential women of community were mad at one another, over some wordly things. I passed by them and told them they need to forgive one another and pray for each other. I went outside church, and there was my cousin, Wylly, waiting on me. Wylly was 38 when he suddenly took sick at work, Lord sent me to hospital where he was, I prayed for him and he was saved about four hours before he died (This was in 1990). Wylly was talking on phone with someone and told me what a wonderful time he was having. I went to get in my vehicle, and felt peace like Lord's will was accomplished. I then awoke from this dream. My thoughts.....Dr Young is seeking a deeper walk with Lord. He recognized me as a man of God, yet he does still want to please man. The church needs messages on prayer. Most will reject but some will accept message. The women were at church for social reasons and were not seeking to worship. I recently gave Dr. Young a copy of my book, My Walk with Lord, and story I wrote about Wylly touched him in a special way. Wylly is in Heaven and having a wonderful time. The missionary reports were cluttered, unreadable...don't really know what is going on with missionary or funds that support this. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. | | The Good, The Bad and The Ugly: How Do You Change the World?Written by Dorene Lehavi
Continued from page 1 As I thought about this man's art, honest as it is, it does not depict most of life. My new thoughts are that if we flood world with goodness, inspirations, success, potential and love, my bet would be we'd get more of it. We don't get beauty by flooding world with pain and horror. That just makes most people want to run away into denial. The question I ask is, do you get more impetus for social change by showing people what is ugly or what is beautiful: what they want less of or more of? As a coach I concentrate on helping my clients identify what they have that they want more of and downplay opposite. My vote is that an atmosphere of goodness, beauty, open-mindedness, ability, talent, strengths and love will produce more of same. Ugliness will produce more ugliness. Is this social art equivalent to sensationalism of 11 o'clock news?
