In every system of working withrepparttar higher functions ofrepparttar 129295 mind, it is stressed thatrepparttar 129296 power lies withinrepparttar 129297 unconscious regions, that part ofrepparttar 129298 mind generally labeledrepparttar 129299 subconscious. In every workable system, there is a whole training process whererepparttar 129300 subconscious mind is 'programmed' with symbols for communication withrepparttar 129301 conscious mind, or with symbols for what it is being requested to do.

And this is where hypnosis fits perfectly! Hypnosis is a phenomenon whererepparttar 129302 conscious mind is quieted to a state of nonresistance. During this state, repparttar 129303 subconscious mind is easier to work with, to get information from and to create new programming. Using hypnosis, a patient can generate his/her own painkillers for painless surgery or dentistry. Using hypnosis, millions have been able to break their addiction to tobacco, alcohol, overeating, laziness, phobias, and a host of other maladies.

And hypnosis wasrepparttar 129304 techniques which gave Edgar Cayce his ability to diagnose and prescribe treatments for thousands of suffers (and every one accurately!).

The evidence which points torepparttar 129305 possibility of using hypnosis for developing and trainingrepparttar 129306 mind for any and all ofrepparttar 129307 mind's natural abilities is overwhelming! And I'm definitely notrepparttar 129308 only person to notice this. Books can be found everywhere showing how to use hypnosis for all of these purposes.

But is hypnosis enough? Does hypnosis have allrepparttar 129309 power necessary to developrepparttar 129310 mind to it's highest potential? I don't think so. If hypnosis could be used to accomplish everything we needed to accomplish, then why would we have a conscious mind at all? The process of hypnosis specifically eliminatesrepparttar 129311 conscious mind fromrepparttar 129312 equation, working withrepparttar 129313 subconscious mind exclusively.

We have two (or more) phases of mind for a reason. Any system that does not addressrepparttar 129314 two modes of mind in it's development process can not be a complete system. Use this criteria to judge any system of development you consider pursuing.

Finding Happiness

In other situations, repparttar goodness ofrepparttar 129294 situation is harder to find. For example, someone lies to you and causes you to lose your trust in them. What good is there in that? Maybe it's an indication that your trust is misplaced and you need to focus elsewhere for truth. Maybe it's an indication that you've allowed an experience to be created (from previous usages of Power) that you don't like. In this case, it's an indication that you need to refocus your mind to create what you do want, and not what you don't want.

And this isrepparttar 129295 central message here. Your thoughts and feelings are directing Power to create your life experiences. Think aboutrepparttar 129296 possibility of dishonesty, or allow yourself to feel that dishonesty is a possibility, and you sowrepparttar 129297 seeds for a dishonest experience.

I know what you're probably thinking - "People lie and cheat allrepparttar 129298 time. How can I possibly NOT think or feel that dishonesty is a possibility? It's more than a possibility, it's real!" This is whererepparttar 129299 principles ofrepparttar 129300 Keys To Power getrepparttar 129301 most difficult to implement in real life. All I can say is that if you can convince yourself that you will never experience dishonesty, then you won't. I'm not saying that it's easy to do, I'm just relayingrepparttar 129302 principles.

Now let's get to our first question, how can we find happiness inrepparttar 129303 midst of unhappy experiences?

Whateverrepparttar 129304 situation, we need to focus our mind on happy things. Maybe we start to think about other situations other thanrepparttar 129305 one we are currently in. Think about a time when you were tremendously happy. Reliverepparttar 129306 experience in your mind. Pretend that you are havingrepparttar 129307 same experience right now. Or maybe it's better to think about how you would likerepparttar 129308 current situation to end. Imagine thatrepparttar 129309 situation is completely transformed and becomes what you want it to become. Or maybe you only need to focus onrepparttar 129310 concept that everything will be okay, whether you know how it will end or not.

There's a story that I like to remember from time to time. There was once a farmer living on a plot of land with his family. This farmer had 2 horses to help him farm his land. And if he worked with those 2 horses from sun up to sun down, he barely made enough to support his family. One day, one ofrepparttar 129311 horses ran away. The farmer's neighbor, once he found out about it, said "That's terrible. Now you won't have what you need to support your family. You'll surely starve to death." The farmer replied "Maybe, maybe not."

The next day, repparttar 129312 horse that ran away came back, and brought 2 other horses with it. The farmer's neighbor happened to be there, and exclaimed jubilantly "This is wonderful! Now you'll be able to earn much more, and you and your family will live in luxury!" Again, repparttar 129313 farmer's response was "Maybe, maybe not."

A few days later, one ofrepparttar 129314 farmer's sons tried to tame one ofrepparttar 129315 wild horses. The horse threwrepparttar 129316 young boy. Whenrepparttar 129317 boy fell, one of his legs was broken. Againrepparttar 129318 farmer's neighbor said "That's terrible!" and againrepparttar 129319 farmer replied "Maybe, maybe not."

About a week later, repparttar 129320 local militia came around recruiting all available young men. Becauserepparttar 129321 farmer's son's leg was broken, they passed by without taking him. Againrepparttar 129322 farmer's neighbor said "That's great!" and againrepparttar 129323 farmer replied "Maybe, maybe not."

The basic lesson in this story (which could go on forever), is that you never really know what will happen because ofrepparttar 129324 current event. Even ifrepparttar 129325 situation now is "terrible", it may be necessary to get to a situation that's "Great!"
