How to set up an automatic responder on your web site

1. Create a form on your web site to capture your prospects information (i.e. name and email address.) You can do this on one or several pages or use a pop-up or pop-under (www.isitebuild.com/web-site-promotion.com) on your web page. I preferrepparttar 124990 pop-under because it is less obtrusive for your visitors (pops up whenrepparttar 124991 prospect has leftrepparttar 124992 main page).|

2. Write a series of 3-7 personalized follow-up messages regarding your offer. You haverepparttar 124993 option of spacing these several days (or weeks) apart from each other.

3. Set up a confirmation page (www.isitebuild.com/success) to confirm your prospects successful subscription.

4. Set up an error page (www.isitebuild.com/failure) in case your prospect makes a mistake filling outrepparttar 124994 information. Create an email link on this page that will direct him to your offer. Your autoresponder will still capture his email address for follow-up.

5. Upload your main page (containing your subscription form),

confirmation page, and error page to your web host. If you are using a pop-up page, upload this one as well.

6. Check all your web pages before you begin your marketing campaign. Testrepparttar 124995 links and checkrepparttar 124996 pages in different screen resolutions, and browsers.

7. Begin your marketing campaign.

Creating multiple personalized follow up messages to your prospects, gives them a better chance to respond to your offer, resulting in increased sales. Using an automatic responder will allow you more free time to focus on implementing other marketing strategies.

Copy Tip 4: Journey Through Benefit Land

Make your copy take your customer byrepparttar hand and lead her through an ever more exciting treasure hunt - until BINGO, you arrive at your irresistible offer. Start with your most attractive benefit and continue to reinforce with credibility, then benefit and more credibility.

Copy Tip 5: Sell with Sub-headings

Have AT LEAST One Sub-Headline per viewable page. Web readers scan - 90% of your visitors will not read through your copy, but will scan your headline, then if you are lucky, will read your first paragraph and then scan your sub-heads. Your sub-heads should tell your story and intrigue your reader to read more or order.

Copy Tip 6: Trigger Key Emotions

Reinforce Emotions Your Customer is Already Feeling. Wait a minute - how do I know what my customer is feeling? Well you better know! You will never have truly killer copy until you understand your customers emotions about your subject area better than they themselves know. Once you have identified a few of their emotional buy triggers, then don't beat aroundrepparttar 124989 bush. Come right out and expose that emotion - build on it. Using phrases like "Imagine you have found..." or Wouldn't it be great to..." allows you to "remind" your visitor why they absolutely MUST have your product.

Copy Tip 7: Have an Irresistible Offer

Once again, live in your customer's shoes. You can triple or quadruple your sales by tweaking your offer to include more percieved value. Throwing tons of freebies at your customer is NOT perceived value. Including something unique, something personalized (Like a consultation with an expert), something that they will get again and again (updates) all increaserepparttar 124990 perceived value of your product.

While there is more to writing great copy than outlined here, these arerepparttar 124991 main building blocks.

Work on these areas first, as they will makerepparttar 124992 most impact on your bottom line.
