How do you do it? Simple. Implementrepparttar thoughts you have. Allowrepparttar 123106 thoughts that you normally reject or push down or feel will not be acceptable to become a practical part of your life. That’s right implement them.

If you think that something isrepparttar 123107 right or a good thing to do. Do it. Put it into practice. Don't just understand it and think about it, do it. This brings power. This is motivation byrepparttar 123108 real you. The wish to do things in order to bring outrepparttar 123109 best in others and yourself.

One way to start to change your motivational state is through meditation. For us meditation is more than just sitting crossed legged quietly in a room bringing peace and happiness to yourself and others. Meditation is an opportunity to recogniserepparttar 123110 rubbish that is debilitating your life and get rid of it.

“Meditation is a delightful and spontaneous thing to do. It is a continual act of making friends with yourself, you just cannot contain that friendship within you: you must have some outlet, which is your relationship withrepparttar 123111 world. Trust and compassion for oneself brings inspiration to dance with life.” (Arthur Janov)

It’s an opportunity to look at your behaviour and thoughts and change them. To gradually developrepparttar 123112 thoughts and life that rewards rather than punishes. Whether you are walkingrepparttar 123113 dog, jogging, washing up or cleaningrepparttar 123114 car you can start by think about and enjoying all things that you have, rather than thinking about what you don't have. Userepparttar 123115 power of your thoughts to create good moods, to overcome weaknesses, to increase your self worth and your abilities and skills. Use your thoughts to transform yourself and your behaviour.

Instead of thinking about weaknesses of yourself and others, meditate on your own virtues, powers and values. Ask yourself:

what did I do today that I was unhappy about?

what wasrepparttar 123116 external circumstance or pressure I reacted to?

what could I have done differently?

what can I do next time I am faced with a similar situation?

As you gainrepparttar 123117 habit of thinking howrepparttar 123118 real you wants to live then you will be able to change your perspective and develop a really alert state of mind. This isrepparttar 123119 power of thought.

How can you react against your present way of life? By doing something which isrepparttar 123120 opposite to that which creates a life motivated by fear. You can react by having power over your thoughts, words and actions.

On Being A Born Leader

Written by Josh Hinds

Continued from page 1

I didn't accomplish a lot of "born leader stuff."

But I *did* do this...

I took a good, hard look at certain types of people. You know them. The "big guys" andrepparttar "little guys" who stand out above crowd in terms of their impact.

I looked. I learned. I acted. DID YOU GET THAT?

One more time.

I foundrepparttar 123105 right people and then...

I looked. I learned. I acted.

HAVE YOU NOTICED?

Most folks don't think of themselves as a born leader.

Chances are *you* don't.

But...

You *can* become a person who positively impactsrepparttar 123106 lives of all kinds of people in all kinds of ways. And *that* is what I want you to hear. You can. You really can.

And if Josh Hinds can, YOU can.

CAUTION AHEAD

Remember, though...

Don't compare in a non-productive manner. Don't expect too much too soon. Don't expect a free ride with no obstacles. But above all... Don't sell yourself short. Don't give up on your dreams. Don't stop believing in your potential. And don't quit looking, learning and taking consistent actions inrepparttar 123107 right direction.
