This made sense because either way you are going to be eating a lot of vegetables, which nobody would argue, is a good thing. So I started my modified protein vegan style diet. I went almost a month eating meat and veggies, when my weight loss seemed to plateau. So after that I decided to try a pasta diet, properly combined, for a while. And guess what, I lost some more weight week I ate carbohydrates. A little over a month and I had lost 30 pounds and have kept it off for nine months now. So my question is this. Do you think vegans have answer? Maybe, Do you think protein lovers have answer? Maybe, Do you think food combining theory carries some weight? I would say so. I would say it carries about 30 pounds of weight.

And finally, biggest reason that ADDers have difficulty accomplishing a New Year’s Resolution is that we don’t put structure in place that will provide us with support. As ADDers make changes in their lives, they need a support system. No one is perfect, and small setbacks can be expected. But to stay focused and avoid falling back into a pattern of self-criticism and negative thinking, we need to be reminded of benefits of our goals, and successes that we have had along way. Whatever your goal, chances are there is a support group of others with same goal that you can join. Another great way to ensure support is to hire an ADD/ADHD Coach, whose job it is to provide insight, support and encouragement as you make positive changes. So have you figured out what January 17th is? Research suggests it’s day that most Americans drop their New Year’s Resolutions! This year, try not to be one of them. Take steps needed to ensure that you have necessary support to accomplish reasonable goals that meet your own expectations!
