3. Attractive people take really good care of themselves. Its hard to be attractive when you are sick, or your schedule is crammed to capacity or you have a great deal of unfinished business in your life. Attractive people understand that if they don't take care of themselves, they won't have anything to give to other people. Its like being on an airplane and not putting your oxygen mask on first. Attractive people make their mental and physical well-being a top priority; they visitrepparttar doctor on a regular basis, effectively manage their stress load, and take time out for themselves.

Some of you may be thinking: "Exactly what does this have to do with my career growth?" I believe there is a direct correlation between how attractive you are to other people and how successful you are in your career. Who is a company more likely to hire, repparttar 131061 candidate who was a lone shining star orrepparttar 131062 one who helped his team succeed? Who is more likely to get a promotion, repparttar 131063 notorious complainer orrepparttar 131064 lady withrepparttar 131065 "can do" attitude?

Who put an age limit on dreams? When are you suppose to stop pursuing your dreams and start "acting like an adult?" Its sad that society's definition of acting like an adult often means jumping intorepparttar mainstream, doing what everyone else does and not rockingrepparttar 131058 boat. You get a "good job," you bring in a steady pay check and you never ever EVER do anything risky like start your own business or quitrepparttar 131059 "good job" you hate, or go back to school to start a new career.

I am particularly fond of a quote by Mark Twain. He says, "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed byrepparttar 131060 things you didn't do than byrepparttar 131061 ones you did do. Sail away from safe harbor. Catchrepparttar 131062 trade winds in our sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Ask you inner child what he or she wants to be when they grow up. I dare you.
