Even if lie isn’t caught, ‘lied-to-loved-one’ feels something shifting—the one we care about slowly slipping away, and we’re left to wonder why? What happened? Relationship decay begins. And I'll never forget those hot, muggy summer nights when it was simply too uncomfortable to stay inside. Even after so many years have come and gone, I can still recall sitting in that old swing, listening to country sounds of bullfrogs from nearby creek joining in an evening chorus with crickets and whippoorwills.
