So where do you begin searching for a home? Which are websites you should start with? Realtor.com is popular for its huge database of real estate listings by agents all over country. However, you may want to check out a few "for sale by owner" websites first as homes being sold by owners may fetch you a better bargain, a much better bargain if you consider that owners have to shell out up to 6% of final sale price in commissions. To name a few such websites, ChoiceOfHomes.com and ForSaleByOwner.com have a number of real estate listings of homes for sale by owner all over country. You would be keeping option open of finding a buyer yourself, through Internet listings of your home, while on other hand, should your listing agent find you a buyer, you would have to pay commission but you’re getting your home sold in process.So where should you advertise and list your home? There are plenty of websites which offer to list your property. Two well-known and frequently visited sites are ChoiceOfHomes.com and ForSaleByOwner.com. I suggest not listing on only one but listing on at least a couple of these sites, if not more.
