Of course big advantage I feel many people today have is that they can rely on our experience so they don't repeat our mistakes. And there are many more tools available today to help someone succeed than ever before.

I believe one main reason franchises are so successful today is because of large investment involved. First entry price commitment of $50,000 to a half million dollars or more weeds out all tire kickers and non-serious people. Second with that kind of investment someone is not going to give up easily.

There is no doubt in my mind that for right person a home business is so much more superior to a franchise it ain't even funny. The investment is a mere peanuts compared to a franchise and you aren't tied down to your business such that you can't go on vacation. If need be you can just take your business with you to whatever hotel you are staying in.

Plus for same amount of work you can easily earn more than a franchise - keep in mind you are going to spend 80-100 hours per week working your franchise business first year or so. And you may need two stores to make a good living.

The point is anybody, no matter what their background can succeed in right home business, provided they have desire and good mentors.

(New content) Your website is never complete, don't let it stagnate with just four or five pages and then expect it to get to no1. This won't happen unless you are a very lucky person.

Ad new content and pages, build your website over time, ad items of interest. No they won't make you any money but they will keep your visitors on your site for longer, and who knows they might spy that program or ad and decide to go for it making all your work worthwhile.

Although you have a business website do not fill it with loads and loads of job opportunities or ads, give your callers something different, they will find your site more interesting and call back at intervals to see whats new.

Be prepared to read and visit forums for information, if you are not sure about something there are loads of tutorial sites on web. You can learn about anything and every thing it is a mine of information as you probably know already.
