Holy, Holy, HolyWritten by Joyce C. Lock

Which things also we speak, not in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. If any man defile temple of God, him shall God destroy; for temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, Greet one another with an holy kiss. The grace of Lord Jesus Christ, and love of God, and communion of Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. In whom all building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in Lord: Which in other ages was not made known unto sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by Spirit; And grieve not holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto day of redemption. That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Put on therefore, as elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering ... He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. Greet all brethren with an holy kiss. I charge you by Lord that this epistle be read unto all holy brethren. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by washing of regeneration, and renewing of Holy Ghost. God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of Holy Ghost, according to his own will? For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than heavens. The Holy Ghost this signifying, that way into holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as first tabernacle was yet standing. For Christ is not entered into holy places made with hands, which are figures of true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in presence of God for us. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: For prophecy came not in old time by will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by Holy Ghost. For there are three that bear record in heaven, Father, Word, and Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in first resurrection: on such second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And I John saw holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And he carried me away in spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and Lord God of holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants things which must shortly be done. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And whosoever shall speak a word against Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. (Whom heaven must receive until times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by mouth of all his holy prophets since world began.) Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C. Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mourning, garment of praise for spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, planting of Lord, that he might be glorified. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor voice of crying. Hear word of Lord, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let Lord be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed. Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her. Then shall virgin rejoice in dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all nations of earth, which shall hear all good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all goodness and for all prosperity that I procure unto it. The voice of joy, and voice of gladness, voice of bridegroom, and voice of bride, voice of them that shall say, Praise Lord of hosts: for Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring sacrifice of praise into house of Lord. For I will cause to return captivity of land, as at first, saith Lord. Thus saith Lord of hosts; The fast of fourth month, and fast of fifth, and fast of seventh, and fast of tenth, shall be to house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love truth and peace. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven. For kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in Holy Ghost. Now God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through power of Holy Ghost. Looking unto Jesus author and finisher of our faith; who for joy that was set before him endured cross, despising shame, and is set down at right hand of throne of God. Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C. Lock http://our.homewithgod.com/heavenlyinspirations/ This writing may be used in its entirety, with credits in tact, for non-profit ministering purposes.
