Use Paint Bucket for your choices of color. Add noise to give texture to object and to hide imperfections, especially during printing process. Select EyeCandy 4000/Chrome or Bevel Boss filter on “Effects” to add border around object. Click Setting and select Chrome Border. Select effect of your choice. If you’re done with object, save it in Photo Paint’s native file format. Import image from CorelDRAW. Repeat these procedures until all components are arranged. If you want to edit image you don’t have to go back to Photo Paint, Corel 10 offers tools for image editing. If you want to put a shadow effect on image you can use Interactive Shadow. Click “Convert to Bitmap” to combine all objects.

Corel 10 is more reliable because of its combined features. It eliminates problems users encounter with other software and lets you create a better slide, web page and other graphics. It’s a CorelDRAW, Corel Photo-Paint and Corel R.A.V.E. rolled into one.

A limitation though that must be known though is that some colors in RGB cannot be made using CMYK. These are dubbed as “out of CMYK color gamut.” The closest that can be done here is a good approximation of original image, nothing more.

Problems like this can be avoided if you have made a thorough assessment of your needs beforehand and have made necessary provisions. Consulting with your printer won’t hurt and they can even give you pointers that will prove to be very useful. Like I always say, things like this always need a very good planning. It pays to be prepared.
