Lord spoke to me and told me to go to Ocala, Florida, about 160 miles from where I live. I packed a few belongings and drove on down there. When I arrived, I askedrepparttar Lord where to stay, and He directed me torepparttar 126519 old Ritz in downtown Ocala. I booked my room, and looked around at some ofrepparttar 126520 sights. I retired forrepparttar 126521 night, and woke up refreshed. I went down torepparttar 126522 area where they served a continental breakfast. The attendant and I wererepparttar 126523 only ones there. I got a cup of coffee and a few pastries, and sat down. Soon, in walked a young woman whose presence filledrepparttar 126524 room. She hadrepparttar 126525 brightest blue eyes and a glow about her. There was a karaoke machine there, so I asked her, jokingly, if she wasrepparttar 126526 singer. She then begin to sing a beautiful song, I Can Only Imagine, a song about heaven. When she sang, it was so beautiful and peaceful. I talked with her some aboutrepparttar 126527 Lord, and relayed some ofrepparttar 126528 burdens I was going through. She told me that God loved me, placed her hand (the warmth of her hand was incredible) on my heart, and said, "You are a good man. God loves you very much and will take care of you." She then departed and I was left with a lasting impression of God's wonderful love. About an hour later, I went to my truck to leave, and there, posted on my window was a note. It said, "God said to me...with allrepparttar 126529 riches you've stored...you've got so much rewards to choose from...and all you want is love..You shall have it." I still haverepparttar 126530 note. I never seen her again (she could have been anywhere betweenrepparttar 126531 ages of 18 to 30). Andrepparttar 126532 Lord has showered His love upon me. I am blessed.

How the Bible Says to Pray

Written by Paul Griffitts

Continued from page 1

Phil. 1:9 And this I pray proseuchomai (present tense, middle voice, participle mood), that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;

Phil. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer proseuche (verbal noun) and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Col. 1:3 We give thanks to God andrepparttar Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying proseuchomai (present tense, middle voice, participle mood), always for you,

Col. 1:9 For this cause we also, sincerepparttar 126518 day we heard [it], do not cease to pray proseuchomai (present tense, middle voice, participle mood) for you, and to desire that ye might be filled withrepparttar 126519 knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Col. 4:2 Continue proskartereo (present tense, middle voice, imperative mood) in prayer proseuche, and watch inrepparttar 126520 same with thanksgiving;

Hererepparttar 126521 mood ofrepparttar 126522 verb “continue” changed from participle to imperative. The imperative mood corresponds torepparttar 126523 English imperative, and expresses a command torepparttar 126524 hearer to perform a certain action byrepparttar 126525 order and authority ofrepparttar 126526 one commanding.

The Apostle by virtue ofrepparttar 126527 God breathed Word is commandingrepparttar 126528 Colossians to actively pray with thanksgiving.

Col. 4:3 Withal praying proseuchomai (present tense, middle voice, participle mood), also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speakrepparttar 126529 mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

Col. 4:12 Epaphras, who is [one] of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers proseuche, (verbal noun) that ye may stand perfect and complete in allrepparttar 126530 will of God.

Lastly I would like to share with you a verse that uses another Greek word, dessis forrepparttar 126531 English word prayer.

Phil. 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer deesis, andrepparttar 126532 supply ofrepparttar 126533 Spirit of Jesus Christ,

Dessis has its roots inrepparttar 126534 word deomai which is a verb and guess whatrepparttar 126535 characteristics of this verb are; you got it, present tense, middle voice, participle mood. Isrepparttar 126536 Word of God incredible or what?

So when it comes to prayer and praying we see a theme; that is that pray is something we should do consistently and constantly.
