The Plaza de San Nicolas, at highest point of Albaicín, is famous for its magnificent view of Moorish Palace.
Sacromonte Hill, which overlooks city from north, is famous for its cave dwellings, once home to a large gypsy community. Here, you can find some of best flamenco shows in Andalucia.
Perhaps most important Christian monument of Granada is Cathedral. Built in 1523, Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand are buried there in Royal Chapel.
Among museums well-worth visiting are Art Museum in Palacio de Carlos V at Alhambra, Alhambra Museum, Cathedral Museum, Archaeological Museum and Science Museum.
If children become a little bored with sightseeing, they will just love activities available in nearby Sierra Nevada ski resort or beautiful beaches not too far away. And so will you!
