AFFLICTION: The least amount of pain, suffering, distress, or calamity required to bring you to greater spiritual growth.

When we let Jesus hold our hand in full confidence - we have learned to be bruised but not broken, wounded but not killed, walk on water, do battle with Satan, break chains of bondage, walk throughrepparttar fire without being burned, and however else to overcome.

Christians know what it is to be Pilgrims in a foreign land, to facerepparttar 111295 obstacles of people at every hand. For each and every victory, we are also survivors and can truly give thanks torepparttar 111296 ones who made it possible.

Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! We couldn't do it without You!

Bless the Children

Written by Joyce C. Lock

Continued from page 1

Children are an heritage ofrepparttar LORD. They're not possessions, but a gift to raise for Him. The fruit ofrepparttar 111294 womb is HIS reward.

Either makerepparttar 111295 tree good, and his fruit good; or else makerepparttar 111296 tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: forrepparttar 111297 tree is known by his fruit. The relationship children have with parents will effect their relationship with God. For, however we perceive earthly parents is how we perceive God. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

As in everything, repparttar 111298 only way to parent perfectly is to ask God every time (letting Him be our parent). Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter intorepparttar 111299 kingdom of heaven; but he that doethrepparttar 111300 will of my Father which is in heaven. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship ofrepparttar 111301 Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, havingrepparttar 111302 same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also onrepparttar 111303 things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

In every way God loves us, we're to love others, in return; grace for grace.

It's our opportunity to give thanks.
