The listing works as an ad. If your listing is a good ad, a high percentage will actually click on it and visit your site.

So, you need to invest some time playing around with different wordings. Youhave to show surfer in a few words, what is in for him or her.

If you do a good job, you will be rewarded with thousands of free visitors. And they will be targeted, eager to buy your product or service.

Sure, you can advertise online for free, but except for isolated instances, there is a catch. Forget FFA (Free For All) sites where you can post a free ad for your business. They get thousands of submissions hourly, and most only keep latest hundred or so current, so your ad has a life measured in seconds.

How about free ads you find in newsletters? If newsletter has content and a decent subscriber base, they are a great deal.
