If a good man begins to walk with bad company, before long he digresses to “standing in way” or standing up for evil instead of good. Then he digresses to final phase of backsliding—“sitting” or resting comfortably in his ungodly ways (carnal Christian). A godly man or woman should always resist evil and evil company.

Psalm one is a dire warning to wicked. Judgment is awaiting them. Psalm one ends with these words: “…the way of wicked will perish.”

So, find your righteous standing in Jesus Christ. Live for Him faithfully in this life and refrain from evil and it will be well with you. And for ungodly, who denounces God and plays fool, his days are numbered among transgressors. He will awaken to a great Throne Judgment at end of his life, and he will reap consequences of his evil for ever and ever.

Keep faith—reward is coming. Justice is assured. God is in control even when we aren’t.

Prayer Yes, we ask God for a whole lot of things. He promised us a whole lot.

It's a good thing to pray a lot. We're told in 1Thessalonians 5:17 to pray without ceasing.

That's praying continually. ...But we need to always remember that prayer is a two-way conversation!

When you ask Father God for something, always listen for His response!

Mary Mary sat and listened to what Jesus said. She wasn't busy making sure that good food was on table. She wasn't mulling over hurts or building up grudges in unforgiveness.

Mary wasn't talking whole time while hoping Jesus would yell so that she could hear Him!

Mary sat and listened to what Jesus was saying so that she didn't miss it and could live way that He was saying...

Have a time with Lord so that you can know Him more and more! We spend time with other people so that we can get to know each other. How much more important is it that we spend time with God!

How are we really going to get to know Him if we don't?

Read inspired Word of God. Everything in Bible accurately tells of Him and what He'll do for you.
