For Thy PleasureWritten by Joyce C. Lock
Continued from page 1
For thus saith Lord that created heavens; God himself that formed earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am Lord; and there is none else. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. And to make all men see what is fellowship of mystery, which from beginning of world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: And that ye put on new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C. Continued from page 1 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Again, kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. But we speak wisdom of God in a mystery, even hidden wisdom, which God ordained before world unto our glory. And to make all men see what is fellowship of mystery, which from beginning of world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ. Even mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: In whom are hid all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Likewise also good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid. He that hath an ear, let him hear what Spirit saith unto churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
