Find Your Perfect PartnetWritten by David Wood
Continued from page 1 You don't need to score 11 to have a great relationship. But if your score is not as high as you would like, why not choose today to turn ONE thing on above list into "True"? Work on your own, with a friend, or with a coach. Top Ten Practical Actions to Finding a Partner The following is a brief extract from full "Finding Mr. Right" program (available at my web site). Make a couple of these true today, then take your time with rest... •I have written down Top None to Five requirements of partner I am seeking (e.g. kindness, ambition). •I have written down Top None to Five requirements of relationship I am seeking (e.g. honesty, laughter, support, eating ice-cream together). (And are you available for casual dating, casual sex, a "serious" relationship, marriage and kids?) •I have - in conjunction with friends - come up with a list of at least five places I might meet such a person (e.g. sporting clubs, internet, parties, bars, interest groups) •I have told at least ten friends kind of partner and relationship I am seeking, and that I would love to be introduced to potential partners, and invited to a lot of parties! •I have written down at least three possible dates to invite someone on, each being something I really enjoy (e.g. walk on beach, poetry reading, rock climbing) •I ask out at least two people per week (and have found a way that works for me and is not too scary). •I have interviewed friends concerning how "available" I appear. (Some people think they appear available, but come across as aggressive or snobby.) Enjoy, David Wood

Continued from page 1 e) Career For this exercise, remember you don't 'need' a career. Assume you have plenty of money, right? So in your perfect world, is there a job you would enjoy? What would you create or make? What service would you provide. What kinds of things have you enjoyed in past careers, or what do you think you would be good at? What kind of people would you work with? What hours would you work? Work from home, or in a really funky office building with a slide down middle? f) Enjoyment What do you do in your ideal lifestyle? Garden? Paint? Fish? Bushwalk? When you gather with friends or family, what do you do? Do you travel? Where? How often? What do you do when traveling? g) A Cause/Purpose If rest of your life was perfect and handled, to whom would you contribute? To your family? The environment? The Community? Child abuse victims? Politics? What do you strongly believe in? What do you love? What do you hate? How would you contribute? Donate money, time, brain power? What legacy would you like to leave behind when you die? The first, and most important step, is to create picture. This alone increases chance of it happening without you doing anything. However, if you're willing to take action, and are up for game of creating your perfect lifestyle, •pick an area to start on •write top ten actions required to handle that area •do two this week! Enjoy, David.
