My mother never understood repparttar specialness of these outings. Actually, neither of my parent’s did. She knew I was away for repparttar 126291 day and therefore I was not underfoot. Baseball became our bond as it also became part of my lifeblood.

Father’s Day, 2001 years after both my parent’s death: They are gone but baseball is still with me. The guys in my psychotherapy practice are often surprised at how much I know and how passionate I get discussing repparttar 126295 game. We wander into discussions of how much repparttar 126296 game has changed. We debate repparttar 126297 appropriateness of repparttar 126298 player’s now mega salaries. We argue plays and groan or applaud a home run. The men who have entrusted their lives to my professional skills and I bond. I have my dad’s baseball education to thank for that ability. I could never be repparttar 126299 son he wanted. I haven’t forgotten repparttar 126300 pain of always knowing that. But, for repparttar 126301 now grownup grandmother who as a small girl tried to be what her dad wanted, baseball remains. I am grateful for that gift.

The point I'm making is that you have complete control over your results (except for unforeseen natural disasters). You have complete control over your future and you have complete control over your mind.

Another thing I have discovered from my years in business; is that in order have complete control over your mind, you first have to take full responsibility for repparttar results you get in life.

When something happens to you, take full responsibility.

The problem is this. It is easy to blame any and everyone, or everything else for our plight in life.

It's circumstances beyond my control. Oh Really?

The economy is to blame. Oh Really???

It's everyone else's fault. Oh Really????? Don't depend on events outside of you to provide repparttar 126292 happiness in your life. Get over blaming repparttar 126293 world around you. Get over guilt. Get over resentment. Concentrate on getting your act together. Take control and take full responsibility.

THINK BETTER! ...ACT BETTER! ...FEEL BETTER!
