One of ways to find answers to these questions is to conduct a survey. You could place a simple Multi Choose survey onto your website and offer a free gift to anyone filling it out. It’s a way of gathering information. Analyze your findings and find out what is like or dislike about your product or service. Make adjustments if necessary

Once you have define your market group you must decide how much information you want your customer to know about your product or service in order to convince them to do business with you. If you give out to much information they may switch off and not pay attention to message. Once you have your message stick with it and keep it focused.

KNOW YOUR COMPETITION

Make a list of your competitors and take note of their strengths and weaknesses. Are they successful, if so study what them are doing and which of their ads work and what promotions they offer? Can you improve on their product or offer a better incentive for customers to purchase from you

KEY YOUR ADS Ensure all your ads are key (A key lets you know where customer saw your ad) so you can track which ads are successful. Run with successful ads and delete any, which are not working. Record all of your results

BUILD YOUR RELATIONSHIP Remember once you have your customers to build a relationship with them. You want them to return and buy again. Keep in contact with them.

Marketing a Single Affiliate Program is First Key to Success because:

Step by step, a good affiliate program will lead you through to mistakes and get you to market things in right way. If you have your own website, then definitely you should spend 80% of your time marketing that site. Remember, you are master of that site, so act like it. Promote it more than anything in world. Look at yourself like you are #1 affiliate in your own program. Do all things necessary for that site’s success, and when you make a comfortable, dependable income from it, then go out and pursue a top-notch affiliate program to be associated with. Make sure program is compatible with what you are selling. Don’t affiliate with a satellite website if you have a health website!! I tried it and results were disastrous because I fell for high payout from affiliate and did not consider what type of customers I was attracting.

Staying in tune with your Program and its target market takes a lot of time, work, and commitment on your part. If you are dedicated to Affiliate’s mission, making mission your mission too, then it is easier to succeed because you too will have all answers to customer’s questions and will better server those down-line associates that you have managed to sign-up under you. By signing up people underneath you, you’ve taken on responsibility to direct those associates to a path of success, just like path you were shown and are trying to emulate. Many programs I have signed-up for gave me good first initial contact, but then dropped communication down to a level of buying some type of product or eBook from them. It seems they are only interested in getting you to buy stuff rather than truly help you to next level of affiliate success.

The Key is to Market Only One Program or website until you have ‘fruit on tree’ so to speak. If you get one apple, why not go for another apple rather than go looking for an orange or a pear. Stick with tree that gave you apple, and go back for more until apples are falling in your direction regularly. How’s that for an analogy of Affiliate Marketing. Always read every step, every word, and learn every tool Program you have elected to promote to ensure that you do know what you are doing and don’t fall into trap of ‘Jack of All Trades, Master of None!’
