"Don't Let Your Visitors 'Stay' Away!"Written by John Evans

Wouldn't it be nice if, after they closed other site that they would STILL BE AT YOURS? If they were still 'with you', you would have more chances of having a paying customer. But How Do You Make This Happen? It really depends on program you used to build your web site. I've been using one called WebExpress for about a year (no, I'm not an affiliate, so this isn't a plug), and I just learned how to make a clickable link (that goes to another site) that opens up in a separate window. By doing this, when that visitor is done with other site, he/she can click out of that window, or close it, and STILL be at my site. I haven't lost them at all. They're still looking at my site, and can browse it again (hopefully). So, see if your program will allow you to do this. Since you'll lose fewer visitors, it's well worth extra effort. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ copyright2001-02 John Evans http://www.dailybiz.com/warriors.htm Want to REALLY make money online? Have you ever gone into a department store, or furniture store and had a sales person immediately ask, "Can I help you?" You take ten steps, and get asked same thing by yet another sales person. And maybe another. Sure does get irritating, doesn't it? It's very same with those pop-ups. You just barely get in door, and a sales person 'jumps on you'. Not my cup of tea, and I'll bet many of you feel same!! Is that really "salesmanship"? I don't think so, because you just might be chasing away potential customers by 'jumping on them' as soon as they get to your web site. The saving grace of pop-ups just might be "pop-unders." These aren't so bad because they don't really interfere with web page you were reading. And, you were already on way out. Think about it. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ copyright2000-01 BJ Evans http://www.dailybiz.com/specialsite.htm Use this article if you like, but please leave it intact. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
