Ants In His Pants!

You remember where I left you inrepparttar first paragraph? I do. Hehehe. There was this problem that was crawling all over me like ants. I was doing everything I could to brush them off. Then all of a suddenrepparttar 123656 cycle turned and it was like coming back from a thirty point deficit in a New York minute.

I began to think aboutrepparttar 123657 story of Charlie. And, I knew that door was behind me, I knew what I wanted and was determined to get it. I also knew thatrepparttar 123658 proverbial door back there was just waiting to give merepparttar 123659 "big pain in my neck".

Then one phrase that came to mind was all it took to seerepparttar 123660 light and cause that door to begin fading away inrepparttar 123661 horizon. "Blow this, and you'll repeatrepparttar 123662 test". Yep, that's all it took. I have learned that every time I "blow a test", by refusing to change, , I get to go throughrepparttar 123663 test again.

Same old test, getting a zero every time. Sometimes it's hard to let go of an obsession and acceptrepparttar 123664 fact that "something" is changing. But, one ofrepparttar 123665 smartest things you can do for yourself is, not to become your own worst enemy.

Change is a universal law. It's like gravity. It's like H20 making water. And, things are going to change even if you refuse. Remember, repparttar 123666 cesspool of liberation is always waiting to welcome you if need some friendly persuasion. And, I know from personal experience that it often only takesrepparttar 123667 willingness to change to turn failure into success.

Change And Conquer!

So, beingrepparttar 123668 humble student ofrepparttar 123669 "test" that I have so often failed, I told myself, not this time. I'm going to seerepparttar 123670 change, acceptrepparttar 123671 change, not refuse to change, and come out of this on top. And you know; it was really exciting watchingrepparttar 123672 circumstances concede to my desire, andrepparttar 123673 door not hitting me inrepparttar 123674 rear, "for a change".

Some people say, "I have a problem, that's awful". I say, "I have a problem, that's good". I have learned to anticipaterepparttar 123675 downward cycle that will inevitably come, and to prepare to go upward and outward to avoid that door. If you will make a decision to accept changing cycles, and you change whenrepparttar 123676 cycle changes, you can then play withrepparttar 123677 big dogs.

Every living organism, be it people, businesses, nations, nature, whatever, every thing goes through cycles. They grow to a point, sometimes maturity, then levels off and dies.

If you learn to anticipate these, look for them, not be afraid of them, then you can meetrepparttar 123678 challenge of change with new ideas, new blood, new energy, and a new attitude. An "attitude" that is daring a door to even look at your rear-end like it wants some of it. :>)

Written by Liz Sumner

Continued from page 1

Since then I've been ponderingrepparttar notion of action in my life. Now that I'm an expert I have some handy advice onrepparttar 123655 subject.

1. Recognizerepparttar 123656 "Wishin' & Hopin' state. Are you hoping something or someone will magically make it all better? Do you have a tight feeling in your chest that you keep trying to eliminate with deep breaths? What isrepparttar 123657 anxiety about? Money? Are your priorities right consideringrepparttar 123658 circumstances?

2. Determine what isn't working? Are you banging your head againstrepparttar 123659 same wall again and again? What ineffective actions are you repeating? What haven't you tried? What are you avoiding?

3. Bring in fresh ideas. Go outside your regular sphere for a new point of view. Ask a friend for names of plow guys. Brainstorm with your coach. Expand your horizons with a teleclass. Do an internet search. Try something, anything to give you a fresh perspective.

4. Go for it. Okay, now you've gotrepparttar 123660 new idea. Do it. Action will give you energy.

Action isn't everything. And positive thinking is enormously powerful. But for those times when fear clenches you in its icy grip and tries to make you believe there's nothing you can do, shake it off. You are not helpless, only inactive.
