Some images when scanned appear not too visible when set on a larger scale. When an image is scanned, it may appear good in screen after scanning but when image is enlarged like thrice original size, it is not clearly seen and provides a dull and blurry image. Sometimes, images are saved on a low resolution only so remedy is to save it in a higher resolution. The use of Photoshop is very helpful in clearing images saved in low resolution. It increases resolution and edges are sharpened. Effects, shading and opacity may be enhanced too. All you need is a little touch of art. It also depends on quality of scanner. In scanning, you can increase line screen so that images will look nice. But do not sharpen it to largest adjustment. It may look not good so do not overdo it. Now in printing, make sure your printer’s preference is set on right mode.
