Learn to pay careful attention to how you are feeling thoughoutrepparttar day by pausing at differing intervals to see what you are thinking.

Then learn to shift your thinking by countering stressful thinking with positive thinking. Focus on one problem at a time util it is resolved. If you shift your thinking your mood will follow.

Unfortunately, most of us believe that if we work harder or faster we will get more done. What we need to do is learn to work smarter.

Finally, take a "mini vacation" twice a day. Take 5 minutes at mid-morning and mid-afternoon and intensely focus on one of your most pleasant memories. See this memory in vivid detail. Imagine yourself being there and truly re-liverepparttar 131056 pleasure. You'll be surprised at how refreshingrepparttar 131057 experience will be.

Stress is a state of mind that is self-induced...a learned behavior brought on by negative thinking. Therefore it can be unlearned by practicing positive thinking and staying focused.

Tomorrow Never Comes

Breaking tasks into smaller pieces works for adrenaline junkies as well. Adrenaline junkies don't necessarily put a task off for tomorrow, they wait until their deadline is beating down on them.

These are people who know they are capable of gettingrepparttar job done but put if off until they have to do it. They enjoyrepparttar 131055 rush of proving to themselves yet again that they can work in tight situations and succeed. This is a good talent if you work in a crisis center or an emergency room where being able to react during adverse situations is needed but not inrepparttar 131056 everyday world.

Why bother dumping all of that unnecessary stress on yourself when you can finishrepparttar 131057 job ahead of time? By breakingrepparttar 131058 project or task down into smaller more manageable tasks makes it easier inrepparttar 131059 long run to get accomplished.

Procrastination is a thorn in a lot of people's sides but it can be removed with a little effort. Before you put something off for tomorrow - remember that tomorrow never comes.
