Christian cannibals?

The next time you're "out for blood" because you're angry and upset, you'd do well to rememberrepparttar only "flesh and blood" we're offered - during our course of conversion - is that of Jesus Christ! He grossed out quite a few of His followers when He shared that tidbit of information with them. They couldn't stomach it. Jesus' claim to berepparttar 149399 Bread of Life, repparttar 149400 Manna from Heaven, was a little hard to swallow. But He meant that we're to feast upon His life-giving words. The scriptures are to sustain us, daily, in this wilderness adventure (John 6:41-69).

You are what you eat. We're to grow more Christ-like and less contentious: "endeavoring to keeprepparttar 149401 unity ofrepparttar 149402 Spirit inrepparttar 149403 bond of peace... till we all come torepparttar 149404 unity ofrepparttar 149405 faith and ofrepparttar 149406 knowledge ofrepparttar 149407 Son of God, to a perfect (mature) man, (measuring up to)repparttar 149408 stature ofrepparttar 149409 fullness of Christ..."(Ephesians 4:2,3,13).

We're to stop picking on one another, pull together as Christian brethren, and resist Satan's attempts to pull us apart. It'srepparttar 149410 old ploy of divide and conquer. He's revealed asrepparttar 149411 one who works up this ungodly appetite: "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversaryrepparttar 149412 devil (NOTrepparttar 149413 brethren!) walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8).

Instead of falling prey to our enemy - going at each other's throats - let's make sure we're consumed with our zeal for God's Work (John 2:17).

There's some kosher food for thought!

A Jewish Homeland

I praise God for having blessed me to have lived in eight kibbutzim (collective-farms) throughout Israel that have helped to fulfill these pioneer prophecies!

God clearly prophesied through Zechariah chapters 12-14 thatrepparttar Jews would AGAIN be living in their ancient capital of JERUSALEM, with their own rulers, and thatrepparttar 149398 "United Nations" would oppose them and ultimately be defeated. Zechariah also showsrepparttar 149399 long-awaited recognition of Jesus byrepparttar 149400 Jews as God's Son and Judah's Firstborn andrepparttar 149401 heartfelt repentance ofrepparttar 149402 political (House of David) and religious (House of Levi) establishment. In fact, Jesus said thatrepparttar 149403 Jews in Jerusalem wouldn't see Him again until they had this necessary change of heart (Matt. 23:39).

Zechariah also reveals thatrepparttar 149404 Jews would again be a FORMIDABLE MILITARY POWER inrepparttar 149405 Middle East with God working in and through and for them. Many Israelis KNOW that God has been their true General and performed many miracles on their behalf. I've heard Gershon Salomon, chairman ofrepparttar 149406 Temple Mount Faithful, recount his miraculous experience of divine protection onrepparttar 149407 Golan Heights many times.

It's important to note that God has inspiredrepparttar 149408 holy prophets to write about real flesh and blood JEWS living in Israel - not Jewish imposters!

Why? Because those suffering fromrepparttar 149409 sickness of anti-Semitism are out to spread doubt and confusion about Israel's Jewish identity! They publish slanderous hate literature attempting to poison minds againstrepparttar 149410 Jews by promoting quack racial theories and Nazi propaganda.

It's nothing less than Satan's desperate efforts to deny that God hasrepparttar 149411 power to fulfill prophecy! Bible-believers reject their bitter lies knowing God's Word is true!

Zechariah also agrees withrepparttar 149412 New Testament prophecies that reveal Jerusalem as a thriving Jewish city that will suffer under a harsh Gentile occupation just beforerepparttar 149413 Messiah arrives in time (Rev. 11:2; Zech. 14:2).

Christ will liberate Jerusalem and secure it as His headquarters! Jerusalem, repparttar 149414 site of David's Throne, will berepparttar 149415 seat of God's government! Jesus, likerepparttar 149416 prophet Daniel, foresaw that Jewish-Christians would be living and working in a Jewish State. They'll witnessrepparttar 149417 historic restoration of animal sacrifices and their abrupt cessation by an evil European force, quickly followed byrepparttar 149418 "abomination of desolation" that triggers World War III (Matt. 24:15-16; Dan. 12:11).

Meanwhile, God's Church (or select individuals ifrepparttar 149419 Church continues to shirk its responsibility) must ANNOUNCE TO THE CITIES OF JUDAH that Messiah's about to appear! We're to boldly offer Judahrepparttar 149420 hope and comfort that a TRUE PEACE is coming and to get ready for it (Isa. 40:1-3). We're to help prepare Israel forrepparttar 149421 shock of a GLORIFIED CHRIST REVEALED AT LAST (vs. 5) and lead them to expect an audience with a DIVINE KING whose ROYAL RADIANCE will illuminate every nation!

We must identify Yashua (Jesus) asrepparttar 149422 "Son of Man" from Heaven that Daniel previewed (Dan. 7:13-14), and stress that Zechariah gave an "eyewitness account" of this same DIVINE SAVIOR descending from Heaven to reign as LORD from Jerusalem overrepparttar 149423 whole earth (Zech. 14:3-4, 9, 16).

Remember this is no small task, and is quite controversial, sincerepparttar 149424 Jews are still looking forward to a human leader to save them from all their troubles!

The Two Witnesses will berepparttar 149425 most influential in reachingrepparttar 149426 CITIES of Judah from Jerusalem (Isa. 40:9; 52:7-8), effectively knowing their mindset and culture (unlike so many others), but God's Church should still do what we can now.

These exciting Scriptures clearly prove (they're not assumptions) that with God nothing is impossible:repparttar 149427 Jews would again be living in an independent Israel, resurrected fromrepparttar 149428 dust of history just prior to Christ's coming, with Jerusalem as their capital, complete with an effective fighting force, having been restored to their ancient cities and energetically transformingrepparttar 149429 land from barren desert to productive fields - all with God's blessing! (Ezek. 37:1-14). These Scriptures glorify God as faithful and we should praise Him that His Word is good and true! Amen.
