But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him other also. Matthew 5:39 Rejoiceth not in iniquity For mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of way. 2 Th. 2:7 Nevertheless foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Tim. 2:19 but rejoiceth in truth And ye shall know truth, and truth shall make you free. John 8:32 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. 3 John 1:4 Beareth all things The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God. Romans 8:16 believeth all things Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 hopeth all things So poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth. Job 5:16 That God of our Lord Jesus Christ, Father of glory, may give unto you spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is hope of his calling, and what riches of glory of his inheritance in saints, And what is exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to working of his mighty power. Ep. 1:17-19 endureth all things If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons ... Hebrews 12:7 For as many as are led by Spirit of God, they are sons of God. Romans 8:14 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away ... And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but greatest of these is charity. 1 Co. 12:27-13:13 © by Joyce C. Yet, in order to come to that place of unity, we have to begin listening to each other instead of debating ~ to consider what portions of each other's faith is actually truth and how it ties in with truth we already know. ... I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious. For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. God that made world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in churches, temples, synagogues, mosques, or even tents made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's doctrines, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all religions of men for to dwell on all face of earth, and hath determined times before appointed, and bounds of their habitation; That they should seek Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are offspring of God, we ought not to think that Godhead is like unto knowledge, or ideals, or beliefs, graven by art and man's device. And times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in which he will judge world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from dead. Acts 17:22-31 (par.) __________________ This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in living God, who is Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 1 Tim. 4:9-10 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. Romans 14:2-4 Therefore judge nothing before time, until Lord come, who both will bring to light hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest counsels of hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 1 Cor. 4:5 © 2005 by Joyce C.
