“Find out what you love to do and then find a way to create that into a business. When you engage in your favorite activities, this will give you persistence to go extra mile, to carry on when things get discouraging. Furthermore, your enthusiasm will be infectious and this energy will draw people to you."

So to create your business around what you love to do is good business sense! The best home based businesses will be centered around activities you love and will build on your strengths and talents. Now let’s brainstorm. Ask yourself following questions. You may also like to get a friend or family member to ask you these questions and to add what they have noticed. Sometimes they can point out things that you may take for granted.

1. How do you spend your spare time? 2. What skills or abilities do people compliment you on? 3. What are you good at? What skills and talents do you use in your present or previous jobs? 4. What job or jobs did you like best and why? What were you doing in those jobs? What abilities were you using? 5. What skills or talents would you like to become good at? 6. What did you dream of doing as a child or teenager? 7. What activities do you enjoy most? 8. If you could plan ideal day how would you spend your time?

These questions are critical if you wish to create one of best home based businesses that really fit you. Imagine having work that is ideally suited to your interests, your passions, and your skills! I would like to help you create a business where work becomes a form of self-expression, for when you do what you love, then work becomes play, and your chances of being successful at it are greatly increased.

Write above questions down and carry them around with you. In quiet moments ask yourself questions and jot down answers. Give yourself time to reflect; you may be surprised what comes to mind. Give yourself at least three or four days or a week to do this step.

By going through this process you could come up with a product that no one else has thought of. You may come up with a unique approach that is all yours. You might identify a target market, a niche that has not yet been flooded with other products. You will likely come up with an idea that you are very interested in, that you have expertise with, that you can write about, that will carry energy of your own experience, and that will bring you greater success than if you just copied someone else’s idea. These factors will help you to create one of best home based businesses.

Don’t be concerned if your idea is not a huge one. Millions of companies have made enormous sums of money out of making our lives a little easier in small ways. By going through process I’ve outlined, you may be able to identify problems that are of great irritation to people, and these people may be happy to pay you for solutions you provide. If you can make someone’s life better, provide them with more comfort, ease, or convenience, you could have a great product idea on your hands. Imagine having an internet home based business where you make world a better place for others.
