What inside of you built your debt? Generally, repparttar 130615 internal reasons center onrepparttar 130616 need for immediate gratification. Rather than saving your money for furniture, cars, or vacations, did you borrow for them? Distinguish between need and want. Maybe you wanted to keep up withrepparttar 130617 living standard of your friends or family. Or you frequently make purchases on impulse. Search your heart deeply. Discuss your debt situation with your spouse. You can't makerepparttar 130618 needed changes without his or her help. Maybe he or she sees more clearly than yourepparttar 130619 internal cause. Make a Plan After you have identifiedrepparttar 130620 internal cause, make a plan to conquer it. Make a budget, make a goal. Decide how you will reduce your spending enough to attack your debt. Some people think a budget robs them of their freedom. Onrepparttar 130621 contrary, successful people have learned that a budget makes real economic freedom possible. Think of your debt as a cancer. You must first eliminate it's spreading, and then you must eradicate it. Use invasive treatments to kill it. Userepparttar 130622 snowball technique. 1. Identify your smallest debt (debt one). 2. Once you have paid off that first debt, identifyrepparttar 130625 next smallest one (debt two). 4. Addrepparttar 130626 amount you had been paying on debt one torepparttar 130627 minimum of debt two, and pay that amount. 5. Letrepparttar 130628 snowball grow with each debt you eliminate. As you continue, your snowball will get huge, and your progress will seem to multiply. Keep a chart of your progress. Plan ahead how you will celebraterepparttar 130629 successful elimination of each debt alongrepparttar 130630 way. But don't celebrate in ways that would slow your progress. Be tenacious. Mythology & Parables in Modern Communication Part 2

Written by Maurice Turmel PhD

Continued from page 1

As mentioned earlier, historically, in times of turmoil and chaos, Myths were called upon to help explain events, to provide a forum for discussion, to advancerepparttar idea that we,repparttar 130612 human race, were indeed ready forrepparttar 130613 advancing change. And here isrepparttar 130614 “Mucker” in all of this. The fact is: “We bring change upon ourselves.” Then we scramble about to try and make sense of it. Yes, We,repparttar 130615 human Race, drive change! And long before we formally understood this process, we had Myths and Parables about it. We always had Myths announcing and/or standing, atrepparttar 130616 vanguard of a New Era. They were and still arerepparttar 130617 “gatekeepers” and “shepherds” forrepparttar 130618 future. They told us what was coming overrepparttar 130619 next horizon and what we needed to do to get through this inevitable challenge. Myths and Parables not only helped us prepare, they helped us executerepparttar 130620 changes and adjustments that are always necessary torepparttar 130621 success of such a process.

So, how are we to prepare for this rapidly advancing Millennium andrepparttar 130622 Changes we are bringing upon ourselves? We have to reach into our Souls now forrepparttar 130623 sustenance that we need. There, hidden inside, behind all those roles, addictions and fears we showrepparttar 130624 world, isrepparttar 130625 Energy, repparttar 130626 Vitality, andrepparttar 130627 Inspiration that is to take us through our great leap forward. There inside isrepparttar 130628 “Heart” that ringsrepparttar 130629 “Bell” that awakens us to our true destiny. It is no accident that we are here now, at this time in our history. And it is no accident that a great variety of warning “Bells” are sounding. It’s up to each and every one of us to tie into our Individual Myths and activate them forrepparttar 130630 coming Millennium. We are at that doorstep now. It falls to each of us to step on through.

(In part 3 of this series we will get into how this is supposed to happen and how many of our Great writers have been warning us about how to be prepared.)
