I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but
will of
Father which hath sent me.
Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto
truth.
But I have greater witness than that of John: for
works which
Father hath given me to finish,
same works that I do, bear witness of me, that
Father hath sent me. And
Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is
work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but
will of him that sent me. And this is
will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth
Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at
last day.
As
living Father hath sent me, and I live by
Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and
Father that sent me. For I have not spoken of myself; but
Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. For I have given unto them
words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
As thou hast sent me into
world, even so have I also sent them into
world. That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that
world may believe that thou hast sent me. I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that
world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge?
same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by
hand of
angel which appeared to him in
bush. The word which God sent unto
children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Men and brethren, children of
stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is
word of this salvation sent. Delivering thee from
people, and from
Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, Be it known therefore unto you, that
salvation of God is sent unto
Gentiles, and that they will hear it. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are
feet of them that preach
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach
gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest
cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
But when
fulness of
time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under
law, And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth
Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister
things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached
gospel unto you with
Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things
angels desire to look into.
In this was manifested
love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into
world, that we might live through him. And we have seen and do testify that
Father sent
Son to be
Saviour of
world.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Saying, I am Alpha and Omega,
first and
last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto
seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
And they that dwell upon
earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on
earth.
And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and
Lord God of
holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants
things which must shortly be done.
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in
churches. I am
root and
offspring of David, and
bright and morning star. Glimpses of God © by Joyce C. Lock http://our.homewithgod.com/heavenlyinspirations/ This writing may be used in its entirety, with credits in tact, for non-profit ministering purposes.
