Pepper Vega, played by Karin Denise, is a well trained singer/comedienne. Her timing is sharp and her personality vivid enough to be memorable. Her husband, Johnny Vega, Mr. Big's favorite comic, played by Ted Wallek, keeps show zipping along with fast paced banter, jokes, and colorful tiffs with Pepper.

During main course, Frankie Marone sings a smooth rendition of "Mack The Knife", tells everyone that Lasagna's never got along with Pizzas, and Spaghettis never got along with anybody! He invites all Don's to stand up while goombas holding machine guns flank a life-sized cutout of Warren Beatty from "Bonnie and Clyde". The keyboardist, Michael Dowe, takes his cues from action, lending a sense of authenticity and drama.

I had Salmon with Honey Basil Sauce, and much to Gustav Mauler's credit, fish was fresh, flaky and moist. The sauce was tangy with a hint of sweetness. My new family members at Antipasto table were very pleased with their entrées. Beer, wine and alcoholic beverages are extra.

"So it all started with BadAssio Brothers", Frankie tells crowd who are well into their main courses. "I need some help up here." He scans diners and walks over to a beautiful, young woman who he coaxes and cajoles up on stage.

"Your name?"

"Yvonne."

"So, Yvonne, Where are you from?"

"Russia. I'm here celebrating my divorce!"

The guests are now in full party mode; they cheer and applaud. Eventually they discover that Yvonne is not just an accidental tourist, she is a long-legged, professional dancer who adds more spice to an already hot line-up. Between dinner and dessert guests find themselves singing and dancing Tarantella.

Homemade Tiramisu is served and champagne is poured as long anticipated moment arrives—Mr. Big, Godfather of Las Vegas makes his grand entrance. Mr. Big, who is sometimes played by Ben Morgan, show's producer, or by a guest, is thrilled with party. There is more tongue-in-cheek mobster humor, vaudevillian jokes and singing. Love is in air.

After show, guests can take pictures and chat with actors.

The program was built on Vengerov's love of Bach and melody, and included a Russian composition 'Echo - Sonata for Solo Violin, Opus 69' by Rodion Shchedrin. The program notes state: The Echo Sonata refers back to Bachs music for solo violin - it is an echo of Bach's music. "I first played this piece when I was 10 years old," he says. "I memorized it because I wanted to impress composer, who was in audience. As you will see, it's still very difficult to memorize." Written to challenge stoutest of violinists, Shchedrin filled piece with a flurry of wildly spinning melodies, requiring exacting nimbleness of mind and finger.

The rest of program showcased four of six sonatas, written by Eugene Ysaye, a talented Belgian violinist who wrote each of pieces for different virtuosos. 'The Sonata No. 2 in A Minor, Opus 27, no. 2' is dedicated to Jacques Thibaud, who was "one of Ysaye's spiritual children," according to program notes. "And this is perhaps why music takes is such a 'soul-searching work' filled with rue and a dance of furies."

The program notes that "'The Sonata in D minor, Opus 27, no. 3, Ballade' is dedicated to George Enescu, Rumanian composer and violist whose friendship became increasingly vital to Ysaye in his later years, as musical establishment became dismissive and his gifts - this is a spectacular concentrated music that offers varied characters - from spare, agonized outset to fabulously technical run-to-the-finish. To hear Gypsy elements in music is to hear it as homage to dedicatee."

"'The Sonata in E minor, Opus 27, no. 4' is dedicated to Fritz Kreisler," program continues, "a violinist who combined virtuosity with a ferociously expressive insight, and also wrote light and lighthearted Viennese parlor pieces - music of this piece is pure and unaffected. The final moments are obsessive, intense and delirious."

The final piece of concert was written in tribute to Manual Quiroga, a Spanish violinist in "great tradition of Sarasate." It was dashing and full of bravado, honoring Quiroga's popular in Europe and United States. "There is a touch of obviously Spanish music and piece captures a youthful, optimistic spirit."
