•Always speak to sibling before making over baby. The sibling will know what is going on while baby has no idea. Therefore, when you enter home or place of baby shower, take just a moment to greet child. Instead of saying, “Do you like your new sister/brother” put focus on them. Something as simple as, “How are you, you look so cute! I bet you are best big sister/brother in world.” You would be amazed at how such a small gesture can make such a big impact. Not only is child getting recognition needed but also, parents appreciate this since they too understand insecurities occurring with sibling. •Bring a small, inexpensive gift for sibling. Although purpose of shower is to celebrate life of newborn baby, a small $2 gift is important. You can take a plain brown lunch bag, draw pictures or paste cartoons or stickers on it, and inside, add a granola bar, a coloring book and crayons, book, toy car, etc. All these items are inexpensive and can make baby shower more enjoyable for sibling.

Continued from page 1 Preheat your oven to 350° F., and roll each piece into a rectangle that is approximately 12 x 6 in. On one half of rectangle, sprinkle your choice of olives, mushrooms, cheese or onion, and then fold dough over to create a 6 in. square. Once you have your square, cut it so you have 2 in. squares, and press edges. Repeat this for every section of dough. Place your squares on an un-greased cookie sheet, and bake in oven for 20 – 25 minutes. Serve while still warm. This recipe makes 36 appetizer puffs
