Adult Acne Products Home Therapy: Organic Apple Cider Vinegar swabs and other astringent cleansers work to remove oil buildup that may become blocked in skin's glands. These products may cause dryness, itching, and redness, so be sure to use them only on problem areas. Herbs: Herbs such as chamomile, lavender, juniper, bergamot, dandelion root, and burdock root can be used to reduce toxicity and improve overall condition of skin. Echinacea and poke root are often used for their anti-inflammatory properties and red clover may be beneficial for its estrogenic action. Witch hazel has excellent astringent properties and may be very effective on adult acne. Acupuncture: Stagnant of Chi in channels of face is said to be cause of acne. Acupuncture performed on these points of face may help relieve adult acne. Surgery: In moderate to severe cases of acne, doctors may use surgery to open up blemishes and remove blackheads and whiteheads. Unlike medication treatments, effects of acne surgery are usually more immediate. And surgery is also effective in reducing development and visibility of adult acne scars. Cleaning intestinal Tract: Acne can be a by-product of a filthy intestinal tract and colon. In most cases when colon is clean acne will go away. I recommend intestinal cleanser Oxy-Powder. Other remedies include skin rejuvenation program including 4 products: Oxy-Skin, Oxy-Zap, Oxy-Powder and a strong Aloe Vera concentrate available at http://www.acne-answers.org. In case of Bio88+ (Plus), and many other “greens” products, if not all of them, if you are on a ‘gluten-free” diet because you are a celiac, you should not take anything which is in any way based upon wheat, rye, barley or oats – i.e., gluten containing grains. Any form of gluten can be an instant poisoning to your system. There is a downside for people who must remain gluten-free. Gluten is a property of wheat, barley, oats and rye. Gluten is literally a poison to these people, especially to Ciliacs. Most “greens” products, dietary aids, are derived in part from whole grains including wheat, rye, barley and oats. If you are considering using a fruit/grain/vegetable derived greens product as a dietary supplement, make certain to do so only under care of a physician. Our next article, Part XIV, deals with doctors and some additional information not contained thus far in our series. They are meant as a source of information upon which you may base your decision as to whether or not you should begin using a greens product as a dietary supplement. If in doubt, or if you have questions, you should consult your physician and, if possible, consult a second physician for a possible different opinion.
